Now we were standing there, shield to shield. I knew - well, I hoped that we both knew very well that this was nothing. Like two wolves snarling at each other, a demonstration of power, without any real intent to harm.
“I have no desire to tear your home apart by playing this game,” he said, breathing a little harder than it would be normal.
“And I have no desire to blow your pompous head off either,” okay - that wasn’t exactly true.So, this is a Harry Dresden/Stephen Strange crossover. I love both characters, and hurt/comfort stories.
I’m not going to over-explain it, give it a chance. :)The story is set after Battle Ground

I know Twelve Months is on its way, so if it's released before I finish this story and some things do not match then sorry for that.
About Stephen: Marvel comics’s story line is a mess, and I have problems with the movies too, so I might interpret him more freely. He exists after his two movies, but: Christine is not in the picture, and yes, he’s the Sorcerer Supreme.I write these stories for fun — but if there's anyone else out there who enjoys my weird ideas too, that just makes it even better. ;)

Summary

Summoned to Marcone's office in the wee hours, she discovers that her services as his vassal have been auctioned off to the Winter Lady. The mission seems straightforward. Travel to Unalaska with the newly minted Winter Lady and help her defeat a force that Molly has only ever heard referenced in the works of Lovecraft. Simple, if you can sort through all the tentacles and non-euclidean geometry, right?
Wrong. The mission turns out to be a diversion with only one purpose. Keep Molly out of Chicago at all costs. When she discovers the Winter Knight is in her town and in cahoots with Nicodemus Archeleone, she takes the first Way back home, determined to help.
