Summary
Shockwave, Decepticon spy and loyal servant to Megatron, has been tasked with the infiltration of Autobot intelligence under the guise of an inconspicuous mech known as Longarm. Being the master of disguise he is, Shockwave figured this would be an easy job — or so he thought. As a particular yellow minibot keeps blundering into the way of his mission, he finds himself beginning to grapple with some unforeseen complications. In a turn of events, he is forced to question his emotions and even his very loyalty to the Decepticons.
Rest assured, however, these are all just minor setbacks. Everything is according to plan.

Every so often, Wasp is visited in his room. It's not something he's told anyone. No one has to know. It's better this way, he tells himself. He doesn't think he can or wants to explain it. He is only sometimes, every couple of months, while he's alone in his room, all the lights off in the deep night, all the noises fading into a silence so dense it has its own presence, awakened from his sleep.
