Summary
3 months have passed since Simon’s sub, the SM-13, showed up in Erid’s orbit. Rocky and Grace were able to extract Simon and help him through his rehabilitation. Rocky designed and fabricated a xenonite artificial arm for Simon. Grace and Simon have formed a friendship, disclosing their shared trauma. Grace suspects that he has developed a large crush on Simon but has no idea if Simon would be open to that type of relationship. Simon and Adrian have been working with Rocky to develop a greenhouse vivarium to raise seeds brought in by the Hail Mary.

“Then let me help you.”Four months ago, the Eridians found a human welded into a metal box on the bottom of an ocean made of human blood, and somehow that's not the weirdest thing about the man. Even after they let him out of quarantine, he doesn't talk much, and Grace keeps a cordial but distant relationship with him--until he gets sick with some mystery illness and Grace gets tasked with helping him recover, because surely he knows what to do. (Spoiler alert: he doesn't. But he figures it out.)

A door to his left opens abruptly, letting the sound of steadily beeping monitors out into the hall, and the nurse emerging with a machine on wheels nearly runs into him head-on.
Lemon curses under his breath and falters as they avoid collision, and it’s only in the split few seconds the nurse fumbles there in the doorway that he looks up, with a crystalline line of uninterrupted sight straight into the occupied ICU room, and sees a lank shock of chin-length, light brown hair resting against a white pillow.
Thomas taught him a lot, yeah, but nothing much about how to keep your world from shrinking down to the size of a pinhead and shattering into a million pieces in a moment like this one.

“OI, shitty hair! Dost thou not -fucking- I mean don't you have somewhere better to be?!” The blond vampire jumped from the roof to land on two smartly shoed feet with barely a bend to his knees and turned to throw a hand on his hip and glare at him.
He was shorter than Eijirou by about half a head, but he looked pretty muscular beneath a fitted black shirt with the collar unbuttoned, and his tailored suit trousers hugged his hips and ass nicely.
“Hey Bakugou. How's it going?” Eijirou fought a smile at the flash of fang in the vampire’s customary sneer, and stepped around him to continue down the alleyway.
“Don't fucking ignore me, Eijirou. And I told you to call me Katsuki! You're my bride and we’ll spend eternity together, call me by name.” Bakugou fell into step with him and lifted a clawed hand to grip his forearm, pink tinting his cheeks.
“Oh, you drank tonight?” Eijirou commented mildly as he looked down. He left the blond's hand on his arm. He actually kind of liked it there.
