Summary
The final battle on Olympus was supposed to be that — final. Instead, Luke wakes up in a strange, alternate version of his world where he died at seventeen, the Mist was never created, and both gods and monsters alike freely roam the earth.
In order to blend in and survive, he must use every skill at his disposal — for this new world has new rules of its own, and the gods here are much more dangerous than he remembers.
Also, why on earth does he have the Sun God's name tattooed on his chest?
(OR: Instead of dying after the Battle of Olympus, Luke gets transported into an alternate universe where he died in his quest at the Garden of Hesperides. Unfortunately for him, not only does he have to deal with being hunted down by this universe's Hermes, but also the fact that apparently soulmates exist here — and he has the soulmark of Apollo, the Sun God.)

Genesis in Daylight by saltedriceball (tealvneu). Luke wakes up at the base of Mount Tamalpais when he's pretty sure that he just died in New York. He soon finds that he is in a different reality - one in which the Mist was never created, and he died in the Garden of the Hesperides. Hermes is hunting whoever desecrated the grave of his favorite child, and Thalia, Annabeth, and Travis see a video of Luke being a Big Damn Hero in Sacramento. Love stories with no Mist and this is a good one.

finders of lost things by RiverTuonen. An incredible retelling of the series with a female Percy (Pelagia), a great deal of interesting language use, some age shifting, and a sympathetic Luke. Pelagia takes Piper and Annabeth on her first quest, and the final chapter will reveal why Luke stole the bolt in this version - pretty clear from context, but I expect that it will be well-written.

A very slow burn, with endgame Harry/Sirius, and Harry/Theo in the meantime.

A Roaring in the Wind by Anonymous. After the events of his third year, Harry spends the summer growing more and more disillusioned with the Ministry of Magic, and resolves to make a change for the better. He wants to get away from the Dursleys, and he wants to live with Sirius. Daphne Greengrass overhears her mother and Lucius Malfoy discussing the return of the Dark Lord, and has no intention of becoming a servant of a genocidal maniac, thank you very much. The fic does an incredible job of showing Slytherins as people without completely overturning their canon characterization. It just makes the very obvious point that there are plenty of them who would not have just waited around for things to happen, when their lives were the earliest of those affected. Probably will never update again, which is a shame, but well worth keeping around for rereading.

The Right Substitution is Key by AddictedApple. When Batman and Nightwing vanish, Tim decides that an interim Batman is needed to cover for them while he searches. After much consideration, he picks the crime lord Red Hood as the temporary caped crusader, as he is incredibly skilled, has most of the right morals (aside from all the murder) and, crucially, is Batman-shaped. Jason is annoyed that Batman disappearing has ruined his dramatic homecoming plans, but Tim made a really convincing powerpoint. Now he just needs to get the kid to sleep more.
