Before the excitement had had the chance to wear off, Bumblebee enjoyed his newfound freedom. A new sporty alt-mode, next to no responsibilities, and free rein of wherever his tires could take him. One caveat: No communication. As far as the autobots (save Optimus Prime himself) and Decepticons alike were concerned, Bumblebee had died in the final battle.
The bot sighed and slumped to the ground until he was laying on his back. Reluctantly he checked his comms. Nothing. As expected. He hesitated as he checked his comms with Optimus, nothing. The last several interactions they’d had Bee had always initiated, and each one it seemed more and more like the Autobots leader was trying to get rid of him, maybe Optimus wanted Bumblebee dead.

This is a SUPER self indulgent fic I wrote while insomnia was kicking my ass. It’s probably OOC so my bad. Mostly (ish) based in Earthspark surrounding the idea that Optimus kinda sorta ghosted his son after sending him into hiding. Definitely some non Earthspark stuff in here though so sorry about that. Moral of the story: OP’s a bad dad.
