No one ever promised Technoblade safety before.
Plenty of people have offered him plenty of things, but they were always presented as deals. Techno gives himself to them in exchange for something: renown, his life, an escape route off a dying planet. It all seems the same after enough time, and this latest server is no different. The revolution that was supposed to come of it never did.
Techno is tired and done with it all. Frankly, he doesn't even care if there's an age minimum for retiring. If he wants safety, he obviously has to make it for himself.

Bdubs is a Human out in deep space. Most people here haven't seen a human before but they know they don't like them. So to get rid of him the cops framed him for a crime and tried to throw him in jail. What they didn't expect was for Bdubs to hide on a ship and make it out of there.
So now he's stuck on a space ship with aliens he doesn't know and hoping they won't throw him out the airlock.

And that’s only considering the history of Earth. The Universe at large is millions upon billions upon quintillions of years older than that. Enough time for stars to die, for solar systems to decompose, rot away into nothing but solar dust and crumbling asteroids.

He gave the barrier another loud crack, delightedly watching as they scrambled away in abject terror.
Nodding in satisfaction, he turned around to meet the eyes of two other prisoners that had been thrown into his cell.
He froze.
Right.
There were now aliens in his cell.
And he probably just scared the hell out of them.
Or: Humans are a dangerous race feared by all on an intergalactic scale. Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity.
This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.

The call cut to music, and Tommy stopped breathing for exactly 45 seconds until the call reconnected to someone. (He only knew that because he counted every damn second, determined to focus on something, anything else.)
"Hello?"
Tommy flopped backwards onto his bed, cringing at the desperation in his own voice, "hi... I uhh... fuck. I don't know how to do this."
The line went quiet, and Tommy blinked. Did he get disconnected? He wasn't even mad if he did, because, in all honesty, that would be really fucking funny considering the circumstances. Like, not funny at all, really. But also just absolutely hilarious. Especially considering-
"Tommy? Is that you?"
Or, Tommy, at a loss of what to do, calls the suicide hotline. What he didn't know was that his older brother Wilbur would be on the other side of the line.

The doorbell chimes cheerfully, and Wilbur draws his attention to the door.
“That’s probably the pizza.”
“Yeah, I’m sure it is. I’ll get it.” Wilbur plucks Techno’s wallet from the side table and crosses the space between the living room and the front door, nudging his shoes aside in favor of answering the door.
Wilbur opens the door, creaky hinges and all, and stops. Gilded in the moth light is a boy- young and old at the same time, a golden halo dirtied and worn. His eyes are familiar- a sight he had not seen in three years time.
Wilbur stares at his little brother, who stares right back. Then he shifts, taps a toe on the ground, and clears his throat.
“I didn’t.. I didn’t know where else to go.”

Three years ago Wilbur's foster brother ran away without a trace. Wilbur never quite got over it, but was forced to move on with his life, certain he'd never see him again- until Tommy reappears on his doorstep one fateful Tuesday. Healing ensues.

The thing is, the gods are not so kind. It is not often they gift mortals with their favour but when they do there is always a drawback, something to keep the balance. To remind the mortals of their place despite their power.
For Tommy, it is pain.
The pain of the person he heals, specifically. When he was born, he did not come into the world screaming and cold and confused. He came into the world wailing with pain, a power in his veins he could not control – that saved his mothers life, but it left him with a terrible ache through his body for the rest of his days.
