the author was not joking when they tagged "plot twists", holy fuck, what an emotional roller coaster, it had me in complete shock multiple times, staring into my bedroom wall, throwing myself to the floor, just giving me such strong emotions that I hadn't felt in a long while reading a fic. And the twists and turns are definitely not the only thing perfectly executed about this fic, the character development, the dogs, the expansion of the magic world, the sentient number twelve grimmauld place, the smut (will I ever stop thinking about draco's front hole? probably not), the writing, the pace, the grey view of magic and death, the hurt the comfort the angst the fluff all of it, every single aspect, it's all fucking incredible, I don't even have the words to express my love for this fic, but the fact that I read this whole thing in two days says a lot as well, it's a 100000/10 fic, no doubt

you know when you start reading something and it is so, so good that you are certain you won't find anything that comes close to it for a good amount of time? this was it. this fic is simply perfect, draco and harry's connection is perfect, only draco truly sees harry and vice versa and that's what has always been the most interesting thing about this pair. I love how the fic gradually builds both on the relationship plot as well the adventure plot, how they intertwine and are so well balanced, and both equally engaging. the smut, we gotta talk about the smut, the way they knew what the other needed better them they knew themselves, draco being both touch starved and touch repulsed was such a brilliant way to explore the character's depth, oh and the sweet moments were just as amazing (harry kissing draco's dark mark was just wow!!), how unapologetically harry was about loving draco, even with draco trying to push him away (not that he was able to resist for long lol), not to mention how well written the story was, it had some truly poetic moments... idk, my head is a little all over the place, all I'm trying to say is that this fic is perfect as fuck, I loved it so much and it's going to be really fucking hard moving on from such a masterpiece 10/10

this story has such rich world building, in a way, every single character is a slave to the society they are in, from poor marigold to even the undying god, it's just a never ending cycle of abuse and it's just so amazing to watch how successful ivo is in all his planning, I know I shouldn't, but I really like him lol
the story was a real "page turner", I read the whole thing in a day 9/10

I devoured this fic, read the whole thing in one sitting, maybe I'm a bit drunk from sleep deprivation but here's my review:
My tumblr name was the bonnie and clyde quote from supernatural and this fic affected me so much I had to change it, can you see how intensely this fic fucked me up? would not change one thing, though.
This is what art is supposed to do to you, when it's this powerful, raw, intoxicating thing that leaves a permanent a mark on your soul.
VICE was pure poetry, the imagery the author painted with her words was so beautiful, so many outstanding metaphors and meaningful parallels, it's just mindblowing, lines I'd stay stuck reading over and over again just trying to get it tattooed on my brain.
Such an incredible study in toxic masculinity, like, in a nutshell, dean's dick goes limp and he becomes absolutely insane (viagra is not something that exists in this universe, I guess). But at the same time, a beautiful tale of strength, of surviving, of finding yourself, of hope -- a coming of age story for the boy that believes he'll die young, tragically, but most importantly: in love.
A 10/10 rating can't even do this masterpiece justice, but it's all I've got.

this is kinda like the "after" of your average slave fic, jeff buys jensen, yes, but he sets him free, the problem is, jensen has no idea how to be free, in fact he is deeply opposed to the idea, it takes a lot of therapy, encoragement and self-reflection for jensen to start the hard process of recovering. jeff is a fucking martyr in the best way possible, he just wants to help jensen but he's also very much broken, they find a way to work together. plus the side characters/side stories are actually very interesting, 10/10

listen, this is the first hannigram fic I've ever read so I don't have much to compare it to, but I feel like it will be hard for another fic about them to hit me as hard as this one did.
their dynamic is nothing like I've read before, it doesn't fit any mold of "bdsm" or "soulmates au", but they have the most authentic dynamic of a sadist person and a masochistic one, it's not just a part of who they are, it's everything and it fits perfectly well with who they are canonically, and as for soulmates, for all of the different fics with world building that includes the idea of soulmates out there... none come as close to what hannibal and will have here, they were made for each other, just the perfect recipe to get these two people who are so the same and so different and that fit so perfectly together, even when it would be better for the world that they didn't.
This is a masterpiece, I rest my case, your honor. 100000/10
