When she heard it at first, she hardly reacted, her mind solely placed on the enemy's below them, and Casey's annoying humming behind her. Then the noise came around again, and she checked. It was a strange noise, and at first she thought Casey was making it (somehow?). Then she looked at the Purple Dragons, despite the noise coming up on the roof beside her.
Then her eyes fell on the fearless leader himself.

“Hey, I’m not a turtle!” April yelled.
“Yeah, get it right buddy. Oh, and you haven’t seen anything yet! I’ve got plenty of tricks up my sleeve – er, in my shell? Eh, who cares where I’ve got em, cause they’re coming at ya!” Leo says as he launches himself into a portal with the signature ‘I’m gonna have some fun with this guy’ laugh.
“Leo, wait!” Raph tries to warn him.
This tiger is faster than they thought.
Before Leo can reach his portal, the yokai runs in front, claws bare and swiping in Leo’s direction.
April can only watch the scene play out in front of her, unable to react with the same lightning fast speed the tiger yokai displayed. Mikey tries to grab him with his kusari-fundo. Donnie launches himself at the tiger with a purple glowing drill head at the end of his bo. No one gets to Leo in time, except -
Shing.
Leo is knocked to the ground.
A roar of pain from the eldest rips through the building.
