    Months after Clint escaped the Helicarrier, the Avengers are forced to look into bringing someone new into their group. They needed a sniper or other long range fighter. Someone who could look over an entire battlefield rather than focusing on one person or a small group at a time. While they are doing this, SHIELD have been trying to hunt down Jason Bourne and prevent him from becoming the next Carlos the Jackal.

    On the other side of the coin, Clint has taken up the identity of Jason Bourne in order to hunt the Jackal. However as time passes Clint loses himself more and more into the identity of Bourne. He becomes more of a killer than he'd ever wanted to be. Between the Bourne and Delta sides of his mind can he recover enough to remain the man he was? Or will he be lost forever?

    This is what he tells himself as he struggles to keep the gun pointed at Tony Stark’s forehead from trembling in his grip.

    Clint tries hard to separate his Ronin work from his everyday life-- really, he does. Being discovered and caught as Ronin would get him a one-way ticket straight to the Raft that lasts an entire lifetime, and Clint's not sure he'd be able to last that long in prison.

    It'd be a lot easier to avoid the authorities if the Avengers left him alone.

    Clint has been out of Medusa for almost a year now. The mental and physical scars are still healing but he's getting by. Until he gets a warning to keep his head down because he's drawn the attention of the wrong kind of people, namely a group known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Twice while on a job he's had to hide from agents in suits. It's annoying but mostly harmless. Until a group of them tries to corner him on the rooftops in Spain. Clint escapes unafraid to jump from rooftops or make what most would consider suicidal jumps. It quickly becomes a chase across countries and continents.
