The ‘at you’ part of the sentence hung in the air wordlessly and he closed his eyes letting his head hang. For a moment the air was still before it filled with the soft patters of Uncle leaving before it merged with the waves beating against the ship.
“He knows something troubles you.” Kyoshi said. He could feel her gaze boring into his flesh. He let himself slide down the door feeling drained.
OR
Zuko was born the avatar unbeknownst to the world and himself. But he knows there is something strange about him. Especially when some tall Green lady, in face paint follows him (How come no one seems to see her?)
Oh and probably when his mother freaked out about him bending water.
But everything fine.
Its perfectly fine.

AU of the canon but still following the episode, but more into world building, spirits and conspiracies! Kinda like vathara's embers, bunch of ocs
- zuko is trained assassin (in secret, even to uncle), and the group/order is Wangdue. Aang knew about it (perks of 100 year)
- zuko has his Wangdue group (lady airi, kaito, yumi the yuyan archer). Wangdue is formed by fire lord, last known is Azulon.
- there's group order called Dorje- distinctive of Chi blocking (lady airi can chi block, TyLee is one)
- lady airi is Zuko's cousin from mother line (ursa)
- zuko can bend other elements, kinda like avatar but without avatar power. The reason is still unknown
- Zuko is officially spirit touched. At first seems like he knew about it from some spirit but it's just Roku. He is known as Agni's (sun)- who is missing. Uh oh.
- zuko got possessed kinda like avatar state. Yue can be too. Yue is moon touched like the show and died like original.
- zuko has animal companion, a dragon. Junsuina. Their bond is deep like Aang and Appa. Azula has dragon too (Lengku) but she is harsh to hers
- after "possession" zuko will be really weak- apparently because he is not Avatar. Still, his power is scary. Fortunately with some limit because if unleashed in full power, he will be burned to ash. In siege of the north aftermath there's even ocean+aang vs sun+zuko which is scary

Zuko loves Mai, he will live for her when he couldn't live for himself he lived for her, to see her. He just wished she'd stop being so over-protective and let them fight together.
