Trope heavy (as advertised) in a very satisfying way. Like all of Purr's stuff, it's like a hallmark movie, but gay and without the cringe.
Noah is the star of the show and the only thing I don't like about this is that there isn't a Sam/Noah fic too. It would probably be 90% smut and 100% adorable, but alas.
Also fuck you Ewan, I was rooting for you!

Summary
Sebastian and Alex used to be close friends in middle school, but as they got older they slowly grew a part. Sebastian hated this fact and blamed Alex's new found popularity for it. After both being sent to detention, Alex and his friends decide to get back at Sebastian by finding a way for Alex to fake date him to humiliate him later on. But what happens when the two start spending for time together and Alex starts to remember why they were ever friends in the first place?

Sebastian feels his face get warm but pretends he doesn't. "It's no big deal. That just... happens sometimes."
"The farmer just casually has a precise and psychic knowledge of where you are at all times and shows up to hand you a rock?"
It's fall of year 1, and Sebastian would like everyone to shut up about the gifts he's been getting from the new farmer.

The Player was an odd thing.
They never spoke to anyone, only stared blankly at you whenever they gave you something, which was usually either literal trash (Penny reported being handed a dripping pile of trash from Mayor Lewis’s can), or the thing that you liked most. Sometimes it was a mix between the two, and on occasion, they gave you the thing that made you happy multiple days in a row if possible.
All in all, Sebastian thought they were really fucking weird.
OR,
The Trio™ investigate The Player's farm when they're sleeping, fed up of them being weird.
Do they find answers? Not really. Do they find more questions? 100%.

Summary
When Charlotte opened her eyes one morning, she found herself lying in dark sheets she had never seen before. Sheets that smelled unfamiliar, resting on a mattress she was definitely sure she hadn’t fallen asleep on. She had never seen the four walls of the room she had woken up in before. And as she groaned and pushed herself up - pain stabbing through her temples - she realized that it wasn’t just the bedroom that was unfamiliar.

The Wizard spent his less-drunken days helping the residents of Pelican Town in his own, peculiar ways. But this time, he had truly outdone himself. Swapping the bodies of two people so fundamentally different?
Now that was a masterpiece.
