Sans wasn't planning on getting himself a slave. There were just too many mysteries surrounding the human to just let them go. Sans was going to find every little secret of theirs if it killed him. Make no mistake, it was likely to kill him. If only the human would stop sucking up to his brother.
Or in which, the author is sick of people using slave fics to make reader a broken/submissive doll and Sans a dom butthead, so author makes their own story and gleefully tramples over some cliches.

Inspired by Bittybones (Actually I have not fully read the creator's concept but it sounds similar to this story's theme. They are small, they are pets, they are skeletons and they help people), I had to tweak the idea a whole lot because I can't say the Undertale characters are addicted to Sans and Papyrus skeletons... (There are OC units, but they are only mentioned.)
Yeah, that's the only problem I had there... (o-o)
Story focuses on POV of the Papyrus Units (No. This is Undertale Papyrus, Underswap and Underfell Papyrus) and how they work around their environment. They are also sibling units so... uh.
This will branch out to something else. You don't need to read everything, just the basic information and names for the incoming story since I'm going to branch this like a vine.

I love this fic, both as an exploration for the state of the Underfell underground and an exploration of the way that the Fell brothers care about people. Sans' nonchalance and casual yet direct care contrasts nicely with Papyrus' roundabout, heavily denied care, but it's clear that both brothers care so deeply and it's so sweet to see. Lovely read, go enjoy yourselves.
