Previosly titled: Roar From the Deep
The flames licking up the sides of the escape pod burned bright. If any soul could see him right now, they’d think he was a star falling from the sky. Maybe he was. Maybe in some other universe he’d be smiling, and teaming with anticipation. But instead, his neck was craned back. His eyes, red and irritated, were glued to the sight of the ship he’d lived on for the past four months as it combusted in the upper atmosphere. It was mere seconds before the shockwave knocked into his pod, sending a panel flying off the wall. He barely had a moment to raise his arms in reaction as the metal shrapnel collided with his skull. In a swirl of red, the world went dark.
Years of training lead to this moment. He was finally aboard a spaceship. He could finally explore the stars and achieve his dreams. But, silly Tango, now youre alone on an alien planet with nothing but fish to keep you company. Stinky, gooey, gross fish. And the ocasional blood curdling monster.

The void was cold. It was empty, silent, and so dark Tommy could barely see his fingertips when he stretched out his arm. It was numbing. Terrifying… Peaceful almost. Tommy honestly had no idea how long he had been in the darkness. Minutes felt like hours, and hours like seconds. He had no idea how he’d even ended up here unless this was death. For a little while he had tried screaming. The blackness swallowed his voice, and his throat hurt so he stopped trying. Time passed. Or maybe it didn’t. He blacked out. When he came to, he was falling from the sky. Expletives burst from his mouth as he fell toward the grass. By the time he hit the ground, his voice had been silenced. The cracked screen of his communicator showed him a blaring red message.

The two of them were a mess.
A half-blind mobster who could turn violent in a heartbeat and an experiment who’d nearly been driven mad then turned to the very work that had created him.
There was no reason they should’ve survived, much less managed to stay together all the while. There had been so many moments they’d nearly broken. It had all been so much, they’d butted heads over the major decisions they were making, and as hard as it was to believe, they were barely even adults at this point.
Doc was twenty. Etho was still just nineteen.
They had no right to work.
But work they did.
And it was moments like these that made Doc think it had been worth enduring it all, for a cramped apartment that may as well be a penthouse, and his everything held safely in his arms.{In which Doc considers, Etho is flirty when he's exhausted, Cleo and Wels don't get paid enough (do they get paid at all?) and they still have a lot of work to do.}

Grian had been running for what felt like hours, gliding through the deep void in an attempt to escape the Watchers.
After finally finding a server to hide in he quickly realises that it was, in fact, not abandoned as he had assumed.When Xisuma went to check the new Hermitcraft Server he saw an intruder hack into it - quite literally.
Though it quickly turns out that the intruder was more a fugitive, running away from the very monsters the admin hated with his entire being.Walking a thin line between truth and lie Grian tries his best to cling to the new safe haven to heal up and hide from his captors, making more connections than he had preferred.
