  1. Summary

A continuity-divergent AU that splits post-Act 7 after the credits sequence.

June Egbert is offered the choice between meat and candy... and gets sick and throws up all over the picnic blanket and spends the next day in bed. Strangely enough, it feels like she really dodged a bullet on that one. Weird.

Unlike my mainline "Forever After" post-Act 7 continuity, this AU explores a world that falls more in line with the setup of the epilogues and Homestuck^2 (although it adheres to the "Sburb started when they were 16" modification), while still focusing on developing the characters emotionally and recovering from trauma.

  2. Summary

Beyond the 470th sweep of the Reign of Her Imperious Condescension, the Alternian Empire spans galaxies and occupies thousands of colony worlds. Alternia itself is a festering powder keg of inequality. Those on the bottom are promised that their needs will be met... and they are... to an extent. To make ends meet, the low- and mid-bloods turn to military service, the Legiscorpus, or a life of crime. Out on the colony worlds, life is a combination of stagnating boredom and brutal oppression. If the colonies step out of line, they are branded rebels and terrorists and dealt with accordingly.

Spanning the stars is the mysterious Deep Felt - a realm of the unknown that allows those gifted in its use to tap into the fabric of reality itself. But this comes with a terrible price, not fully understood by those who delve its depths. And there lurk things beyond the Far Reaches of the Empire that are unknown even to the Empress herself.

Set in a cyberpunk AU blending Alternia and Beforus, the Analog Starlight explores themes of trauma, healing, and survival in a series that is explicitly critical of neo-liberal imperialism. This is a series about survival, finding meaning in life, and broken people looking for healing.

  4. Summary

At ten sweeps, every young adult troll is destined to leave for a never-ending life of servitude to the vast expanse that is the Alternian Empire. But there is a revolution boiling beneath the surface, and the death of the old Empress three sweeps ago at the hands of the Heiress Trizza Tethis has left the Empire in a state of uncertainty.

These are the stories of the Alternian rebellion, insurrection, and beyond.

jO: You’re kind of our only option, Tyz. The cause is falling apart. Everyone’s either ascended or fucking dead, and honestly, you’re the only non-jade I’d ever really trust to not accidentally kill a grub. So, whaddya say?

    lA: Alright, I’ll do it.

    Summary

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide

It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)

The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.

There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)

Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
