Gaster - well, XGaster as he’s known in the Multiverse, a stupid name for a stupid man - wanted to become a god, to touch the golden pedestal that Ink stands on. That got him killed, and it’ll get Cross killed too, if he keeps this up.
But he wants it. That power, that freedom - he wants the chain off his neck.
He wants what Ink has.

Shouto Todoroki thought he was satisfied in life. But he’s becoming increasingly aware of the fact that something isn’t right. And he can’t quite remember how he got second in last years Sport’s Festival.
And Katsuki Bakugou doesn’t even know where to start.
Midoriya Izuku thought he had a Quirk. Turns out he didn't. It was something else. But that doesn't matter anymore. He's gone, taking the memories of him with him.

She, Mercury and Neo have poured over the plan what has to be hundreds of times by now, stealing moments away at the makeshift camp they had all set up in the wilds outside of Vale. Sneak off, knock out Watts, steal the airship. Sneak off, knock out Watts, steal the airship. Sneak off, knock out Watts - god, but what if he’s ready for them? What if Salem’s ready for them? What if she knows about what they’ve been planning this entire time? She’s not here, but her monstrous Seer is - what if it had been listening in on them?
(OR: Mercury, Emerald and Neo attempt to make their getaway from Salem during a battle. Meanwhile, Oscar's been cast adrift, with nothing left to live for. Their paths intersect, and they must all make a choice- do what is right, or do what is easy.)

“Uh… may I ask what this is?” Akechi turns to face Yusuke, who’s pointing at the bulletin board that’s propped up against his wall. It’s covered in printed out articles of things he found online about Shido, as well as various newspaper clippings and photos of both Shido and his associates, all sprinkled with a helping of yellow and blue sticky-notes.
“Ah.” Akechi says. He had completely forgotten that was still out.
For the past few days, Akechi had been piecing together everything he knew about both Shido and his associates with the help of Haru and the databases he could access at work. He had considered asking Makoto to break into her sister’s computer again to see if there was anything useful that Sae had access to, but Haru reasoned that their clearance was probably the same. (Also, Haru had said she really didn’t want to bother Makoto again.)
OR: The Phantom Thieves infiltrate Shido's Palace. Things don't quite go according to plan.

“...Where is Oscar?” Penny asked.
Immediately, she realized that was the wrong thing to say.

Sans doesn’t open his window after the first rock. Nor the second, nor the third. No, it takes a whopping total of six pebbles thrown his way before he finally takes the hint, opening the window and sticking his stupid skeletal head out.
“‘Scuse me?” He mumbles, bags underneath his eye sockets. He looks down, brow crinkling with confusion when he spots Chara. “Kid? It’s three AM, the heck are you doin’ here?”
They make eye contact, and Chara has to stop themselves from flinching away. It’s a gaze you just can’t hide anything from. And thank the lord, it only takes Sans about five seconds before he gets it.
“Oh,” He says. “You’re not Frisk.”
(OR: In which Chara obtains Frisk's body and soul after a No-Mercy route, but can't quite seem to muster the anger they once had. So, they turn to someone else instead.)

“Trash?” Oscar remarks, unable to stop the exasperation from leaking into his voice. Sure enough, the back alley is full of it, a few square feet away from being a full-on junkyard. Heaps of scrap metal and debris from the abandoned buildings standing on either side are piled together, years and years of trash towering above the two of them. “You brought me all the way out here to see a big pile of garbage?”
“Close,” Mercury replies, stretching his arms over his head. “I brought you all the way out here to smash a big pile of garbage.”
And before Oscar can respond to that, Mercury snaps his metal leg forward, kicking a pile of debris down with an explosive ‘crack’! Oscar jumps as the pile collapses, dust billowing up from the heap.
“W-why?” Oscar asks, as Mercury steps over a hubcap, seemingly looking for something in the wreckage.
“Helps me feel better.” Mercury picks up a long iron stake, noticing the rusty sheen on its surface, before throwing it behind him. “Good way to blow off some steam.”

It started like this.
Two boys had been friends since primary school. One had been timid and shy, the other stubborn and mean. One boy short-circuited everything he touched. The other was so uncannily good at pinpointing where people were, like he could hear them a mile away. Both boys were so in tune with each other that it was like they could read each other’s minds.
That’s when the monster attacks started.
Tsukishima Kei and Yamaguchi Tadashi have been fighting monsters for three years now, settling into a semi-comfortable routine. As they approach high school, however, things get a bit more complicated. After all, it's a bit harder to keep your magical side activities under wraps when you're stuck with the nosiest volleyball teammates known to mankind.

Akechi takes the cigarette out of his mouth, exhaling smoke. It burns the back of his throat, in a way that he can’t quite describe as pleasurable, but it leans enough in that direction for him to do it again. “Smoking kills, Kurusu.” He says, smiling in some strange combination of the smile he uses for TV, and the smirks he’d wear when he knows he’s alone. “You’d think the great leader of the Phantom Thieves would care about his health more.”
Kurusu barks a laugh, and something is off about it, the way it sounds bitter and contemptuous. “Yeah,” He replies, taking a drag. “You would.”
That’s… a loaded statement.

'I kinda like the second plan better', Neo signed. Oscar opted to ignore her.

“...What are we doing.” Akechi mumbles, head in his hands.
“Trying to stop a murder, remember?” Haru responds, putting a hand on his shoulder. “ Please don’t tap out yet, we’ve only just started.”
“How the HELL am I supposed to stop THIS?!” Akechi gestures to the giant casino in front of them, the panic and stress from the past week leaking into his voice. “I, for one, have NO IDEA what I’m doing, and I’m starting to wonder why the hell you’d pick me for this.”
“Because you’re smart.”
“Not about this kind of thing!” Akechi exclaims. “I SOLVE murders, not CAUSE them! Or, at least,” He adds, more quietly, “Pretend to cause them.”
(OR: Akechi and Haru plot to stop Akira's murder, and the infiltration goes south.)
