Malon looks at him, eyes bright. "Well," she says, "I hope you're gon' tell me more about them."
"They'd kill me if I didn't," Link says, and thinks of the fuzzy memories of being teased about girls, and Malon, who's Malon, Sprite? You got a crush? and the ensuing arguing and relentless teasing that had followed. How could he forget? How could he possibly ever forget what little family he had?
In which Link - or Time, now - reminisces over old friends, makes some new ones, and comes to the realization that childhood had come with the price of rose-colored glasses.

Summary
“Malon?” Warriors questions.
Time opens his eye once again. Malon’s staring straight at him, cheeks flushed and turning more red by the second. He doesn’t know where it’s come from, but the heated stare makes his own ears start to warm. “Darling?”
She stomps over, sweeping her muddied skirts up into a bunch, grabs his face and then kisses him hard on the mouth. Warriors whistles. Wolfie imitates the sound, jumping up onto the couch next to the man.
“You,” she says, breathlessly, when she pulls away, “are going to be such a good dad.”
Time didn't expect to experience fatherhood when he'd joined this new adventure. Then again, life liked throwing curveballs at him. (Three times Time experiences fatherhood while in the Chain, and the first time Malon notices it)

Summary
“I know it should be a good thing,” his brother says, quietly. “So many aches and pains, avoided. So many scars gone. Malon tells me I'm in relatively good shape for my age. This body has not seen a fraction of what my mind has, despite being the one I've lived longest in. It feels foreign.”
He opens and closes a hand, observing the fist it makes. Warriors watches him, a familiar melancholy settling in his chest.
“Is it bad to wish I'd never gotten those second chances?”
Time's body doesn't feel like his own, sometimes. Warriors gets it.

Summary
Sky has a separate moment with each member of the team;. Bad decisions, fight scenes and deep conversations ensue. In which:
- Warrior's Hyrule sucks, Sky makes an interesting decision and Warriors is justifiably frustrated.
- There is a thunderstorm, a Guardian and a Lynel, and things go… slightly better than expected, actually.
- A vacation begins, and Outset Island's shores are a nice place to get less nice things off your mind.
- Being prophetic is far less helpful than it sounds, and Wind is having an unfortunate time.
- It's Sky's respiratory system against the world, and Twilight's big brother instincts don't falter against anyone younger than him.
- Sky takes his rightful place as most huggable Link, takes notes and finds out new things regarding Four.
- There's calm before a storm, and Sky and Hyrule do some rebelling.
- The storm arrives, shit goes down, and Time and Sky have a long awaited conversation.
- Sky, in the past and present. Everything comes to a long, sixteen-part, twenty-three-thousand word conclusion.

Legend takes it upon himself to help his successor. He must understand how this curse works and find books in a library—a difficult task when the portals keep dropping them off in the middle of the woods!
But what if the explanation was actually much simpler—and less evil—than they all imagine?

Summary
After apprehending a dangerous criminal kingpin for the lucrative bounty over his head, Fox and Krystal discover a mysterious girl in her late teens who had been kidnapped by the same criminal, revealing that she had been his slave for three years. She is overjoyed at her rescue and quickly develops romantic interests in one of her rescuers, and much to the surprise of the vulpine couple, it is Krystal she grows infatuated with. Krystal has no interest in indulging in this girl's desires, but she is dedicated to helping her new friend work through years of sexual abuse and trauma during the long voyage across the galaxy back to Corneria. What the two of them will discover together while doing so will be beyond anything they could have been prepared to uncover.

Atticus Winters is an Agent of Firewall, one of those charged with ensuring that the flickering light of human civilization does not die out. Joining one of Firewall’s colonization programs, he passed through a trans-dimensional gate of unknown age and providence. Winding up in the past on a parallel Earth was not un-expected, as that had been a possibility they had planned for. Quickly discovering that the megacorps that dominate this version of Earth are rapidly driving humanity to extinction, fixing such a society would be the work of multiple lifetimes, but Atticus couldn’t call himself a Firewall Agent if he didn’t at least try.
A decade later he gets a call from Viktor Vektor, who had helped him establish himself in Night City. One of Vik’s patients, and friends, has a bullet in her head and an unknown biochip eating her brain. From how Vik describes her, and from what he hears from other fixers, she would make a good Firewall agent, and it is far past time for Atticus to set up his own Firewall cell.
V, still deeply traumatized from her time in Arasaka CI, absolutely does not want to bind herself to another corp, and is determined to get the Relic, and Johnny Silverhand, out of her on her own terms.

Summary
The newest member of the ragtag group of heroes throughout the ages literally falls from the sky in front of them.
It doesn't take long for them to realize that he's not a fighter like the rest of them, at least not anymore. And that's ignoring the fact that he's a shy nervous wreck who clearly isn't used to being around nine other heroes with questionable social skills.
(AU where Wild is the last to join the Chain and he's not a swordsman like everyone else, but is instead a sorcerer because his chronic pain meant he couldn't fight with an actual sword anymore. He's got a lot of healing to go through with that, and the Chain will help him because he's one of them, even if a sorcerer Link wasn't what they were expecting.)
