    His brother had been much smaller than he remembers, and without a single uttered word of refusal, he let Wilbur braid his hair. Wilbur had tucked a lily behind his ear then—one that was the colour of the creeping dawn, and the scent of early morning dew on the humid bark of the tree they'd built a tiny fort on.

    And never, not even once did he think that that would become a tradition between him and his brother.

    The Egg is expanding its control on the server but it knows to truly have control it will have to have control of the stubborn admin who created it. But Dream was annoyingly out of its reach and had been largely unresponsive to its presence that was until his mind started to crack apart at the hands of a Dreamon and the Egg started to see an opening which led to it making a choice that would change the course of the server. It wanted Dream and by its ancient ancestors it would have him. But the idiot Dreamon takes it too far and gets their perfect host thrown into Pandora's vault to rot along with seemingly being exorcized and banished back to its realm by the shattered admin. Which just wouldn't do so the egg sends some of it's puppets to go collect it's perfect host.

    Or: Techno and Niki and awkward conversations. Also, they have matching hair. Canon divergent after Doomsday/the third L'Manberg bombing; Niki leaves after burning L'Mantree and joins the anarchist commune which exists because I say it does.
