Despite being terrible at normal, civilian things like dating, Shepard and Garrus finally manage to enjoy some quality downtime together at a bar on the Wards. Over the course of a few Heatsinks (one dextro, one with umbrella, both on ice), Garrus opens up about his love life, and Shepard finds out why she’s been his only serious relationship in years.

Summary
Lauren Shepard was raised in an orphanage on the Citadel. When she turned twelve, she ran away from said orphanage, thinking that living on the streets would be better.
It wasn’t.
That is, until someone took notice of her, and invited her back to the Xirid District Reds: a gang that operated primarily in the Xirid District on the Bachjret Ward of the Citadel. Their specialty: drug dealing, armed robbery, kidnapping, extortion, and theft.
Curt Weisman, the leader of her particular group, took interest in her and became her on-again/off-again boyfriend soon after she joined the gang. Curt taught her the ropes, both in the art of theft and sex, toxic as it may be.
Early on, Lauren had quite a few arrests on her record, all by one particular cop. Now at nineteen, Lauren has improved her thieving abilities throughout the years, until she is once again taken into custody by Citadel Security.
