Summary
Looking back, Raph can count all the red flags he missed and hates himself a little more for each one. Leo sometimes causes problems for fun, and he likes to see what trouble he can get away with or get himself out of, and he is a downright menace to society when he’s bored—but he’s good. He’s sweet, and charming, and wants to help.
Leo wouldn’t have raised an issue with the other group of mutants, potentially cutting ties with useful allies, unless he had a decent reason to.

Raph’s breaths came harsh and ragged, the snarl on his face making him look more like the impulsive, emotional brother Leo knew. For the first time since the turtles broke into Shredder’s lair and laid eyes on him, he looked like Raph again. Leo could feel the way his brother’s arms quivered through his grip on his katanas, and he fought to hide the optimism-relief on his face behind a cocky raise of an eye ridge.
Then Donnie cried out behind him, followed by a crash, and it all fell apart again.
AKA I thought the "mind-controlled Raph" concept in Clash of the Mutanimals was CRIMINALLY underutilized and should've lasted at LEAST a few episodes.

“...He—Oh, wait, they're coming right now, hang on,” Mikey said, eyes flashing when he saw them coming. He lifted his cheek off his leg and regarded them with a suspicious gaze. “Are you guys good now?”
Leo smiled, a painful pull on his cheeks that flickered through their connection. “As good as we can be. Update on the spell, though.”
“Oh?” Mikey sat up completely, letting his leg down. “What happened? Here, Barry, I’m putting you on speaker.” He clicked a button on his phone and held it out in the middle of their little circle as it closed.
“I’m listening,” Draxum said.
“So, long story short, we were raiding Big Mama’s vault and her defense system for the vault was some sort of cannon that shoots spells, and Raph got hit by one, like, an hour ago, and we didn’t really know what it did, but then he grabbed me and now we can hear each other’s thoughts,” Leo said.
Or, Raph gets hit with a telepathy spell that causes him to connect with Leo, the ONE person he can't STAND to be in the same room as for ten minutes---But maybe this newfound bond will finally force the rift between them to close. Who knows?

Don't be scared off by the "bad sibling Raphael" tag!! There is no bashing of any characters in this fic! In this context, it means that Raph is Very Understandably Frustrated and working with some incorrect assumptions. It honestly feels very in-character. Don't worry--we absolutely do see the kind of communication that you'd want from this kind of story, and it is VERY cathartic when it hits!
All in all, very well written, with some really good character stuff going on. ^-^ My compliments to the chef!

Summary
Rolling his eyes, Mikey continued to look through the pile- eyes caught by a specific hoodie. He reached out, grabbed it, and held it out.
It was a large hoodie. The sleeves and the hood were green, with green rope things on the front. The chest was cream-colored, with a picture of a green dinosaur.
"It's so soft!" Mikey hugged the hoodie, squishing his face in it. April laughed, quickly snapping a picture.
"I couldn't resist. Just imagine Casey wearing that!"
Mikey laughed and pulled away. His laughing stopped when he spotted them.
Turning the hoodie around, he held up one of the sleeves. Three spikes poked out of them. The same with the other sleeve.
Holding up the hood, he saw green spikes poked out of there as well.
Those spikes looked like the ones of a certain snapper.
Or
Mikey, after spotting a hoodie with spikes, got the brilliant idea to get one for himself to match with Raph. The moment the twins knew, they wanted in too.
They hadn't known Raph hated his spikes.

Summary
After defeating a massive army of robots that turned on their creator to wipe humanity off the face of the Earth, Raph and his brothers head home without a care in the world. With minor injuries, they each agree to tell their dad what exactly went down the night before in the morning. Turns out being separated for hours on a highly dangerous mission with a killer robot after you made you want to spend time with your brothers, who knew?
Except Raph has a major injury. Surely he can keep it hidden till morning and spend some much needed time with his brothers… right?
Or: I jump on the train and expand what could have happened after Raph got home with broken ribs.
