It’s been almost a year and a half since the war ended, and life is looking good for Susan Bones. She shares a flat with Hannah Abbott (and occasionally Ernie Macmillan, now Hannah’s boyfriend), plans on applying to train as an advocate soon, and follows no less than five programs faithfully on the WWN. And then things get even better when she falls into a weird but wonderful relationship with a violinist named Robin Chanticleer, a larger-than-life character who reminds her of her favorite radio personalities. In fact, you could probably sum up her life right now with the phrase “weird and wonderful.”
But good things don’t always last forever, and her relationship with Robin, and even Robin himself, are not all they seemed at first. Will she and Robin work things out and live happily ever after, or is their relationship doomed to founder?
This story is a sequel of sorts to Honest to the Bone, but you probably don't need to read Honest to the Bone to understand what's going on so whether you choose to read it first or not is up to you.
