Summary: Wild is currently dealing with a lot of problems. First of all he has most definitely been stabbed and it is quite painful. Second the master sword is using his energy to reform and he doesn’t really have any to go around right now so it’s going to be hard to cook lately. And finally, Sky is swiftly approaching him and the shattered master sword and the first two problems might make it hard to explain anything.
Or: Wild smashes the master sword into pieces and then tries (and fails) to convince Sky that this is completely normal before he passes out.

Warriors was a paranoid man.
It was inevitable, after the War of Eras, where there were constant whispers over his shoulders, knives pointed at his back, poisons in his cup, hands running possessively up and down his skin. He’d had a country to protect, a goddess’ blessing to honor, a royal family’s expectations to meet, and a love-sick sorcerer to defeat, not to mention three kids following him around like ducklings through it all. He’d done his best to shield them from the horrors of war, from the crushing responsibility being thrusted upon their too thin, too young shoulders.
He hadn’t quite succeeded, but he’d done his best.
So, when Wild starts acting strangely—lashing out at the other heroes, freezing and getting himself hurt in battle, even losing his customary impulsivity to turn secretive and sullen, writing day and night in that little notebook of his—Warriors recognizes the ingredients of budding betrayal. He's willing to do anything to keep the others safe—and willing to do anything to save the young hero from himself. He's even willing to betray another hero's trust.

Twilight stood, unsteady and almost definitely feverish, between Wild and the massing Yiga. He held the windcleaver in one hand and Wild’s sickle in the other. If he couldn’t get them out, then he could at the least defend his brother.

Hell, this guy is landing hits that no mortal could think of, as he backflips once more, rushing towards the rancher, but never getting the chance to beat Twilight up. Sky and Warriors drag the new kid away, and Twilight is held in place by Time, as his firm hand clamps down on Twi’s shoulder. He's breathing heavily, a small stream of blood flowing from his nose.
