Summary
“Don’t worry about it,” the sheriff said again. “You usually gush about Derek, so why don’t we focus more on that instead?”
Stiles let out a small laugh, shaking his head and taking another bite of his food. He’d been ranting and raving about the noise complaint all day, first to Scott, and now to his father. He supposed it was time to let the topic die and move on to something else.
“I’d love the opportunity to speak to him more often, but he’s always running around doing things, and he’s such a busy guy.” Stiles shrugged. “He’s in charge of four buildings, and with over fifty apartments apiece, I don’t know how he has enough time to stay sane.”
“Even he gets time off,” his dad argued. “If you want to get to know him, just ask him out to coffee.”
“I can’t just ask him out to coffee,” Stiles insisted, appalled. “Do you know what the dating scene is like nowadays? Brutal. Brutal, dad! Remember Lydia?”
“Lydia was out of your league,” his father argued with a small smile.

Summary
A series of drabbles in the original strict sense--each exactly 100 words in length (I don't count the titles in the word count.) Most are prompted, some not.
To anyone interested: Feel free to use any of these drabbles as prompts for longer fics. I write teasers sometimes that even I would like to see written out in fuller form, which I myself am never likely to do. I only ask that I get credited and linked to the finished work. Thanks!

Summary
“Hi, James,” Steve called as he pulled off his gloves and shoved them in his pocket. “Got any of your muffins left this morning?”
“Hi, Steve,” Rhodey said as he flicked the button on the espresso machine. “There’s a whole tray just about to come out of the oven.”
“All for me?”
“Aren’t they always?”
Steve laughed as he reached the counter and fished out his wallet. “Your baking keeps me alive, James, I swear it does. I couldn’t get through the day without something from your kitchen.”
Because there was that. Steve didn’t know that Tony existed.
Steve thought that Rhodey was the one who did all of the baking of the goods – which was quite frankly laughable – whilst Tony hid in the back every time that the man walked through the door.
He also stared wistfully through the small window to the kitchen, but Tony definitely never went outside to talk to any of his customers. No way.

Summary
“I was, um, well – I thought you maybe... I mean only if you want, I...”
Tony laughed kindly, lowly, and squeezed Steve’s fingers. “Just ask what you want, Steve.”
Steve took a deep breath and stared deep into Tony’s eyes. “I wondered if you would write to me when I go. The war isn't so bad when you have a letter to look forward to.”
Though his words left his mouth in a jumble, Tony heard them clearly. His smile stayed on his face as he slid his fingers up to circle Steve’s wrist.
“Sure, Captain, I’d love to.”
