Summary
In the year 2157, the Turians attacked an unknown species found to be tampering with Mass Relay #314. They expected a race still young in spaceflight who would submit easily to their might. What they got instead was the Terran Systems Alliance, a united force of humans and hundreds of species collectively known as Pokémon.
In the year 2183, the SSV Normandy started what was described as a shakedown run to the Exodus Cluster. Two and a half years later, its Commander Shepard had gathered a large multispecies crew, cheated death on several occasions, rewritten multiple rulebooks, and faced down the entity in command of a swarm of invading biomachines with a grin on his face. How he got there is not completely a matter of public record. No one person has told the full story. Until now.
A universe fusion story in which Pokémon and Mass Effect share the same timeline.

Hornet woke in the Black Egg Temple to the sight of her sibling's fractured mask. For the walk from the temple's central chamber to its exit, she thought herself truly alone in the world once more.
When Hollow followed her out, she realized that wasn't so. But now she has to try and take care of her older sibling as they recuperate and learn to live in a world where they do not have to be pure, figure out what to do about what Little Ghost left of a body, and try to piece together two kingdoms which fell long ago.
Life keeps throwing her surprises, too, which does not help.

Summary
In 2091, 21 years prior to the present day, a malfunctioning orbital weapon levels most of the world's cities and kills off 70% of the human population in an event later called The Great Destruction or The Catastrophe. The standing governments and organisations are quickly usurped by the massive corporations who have grown to hold power equal to those of the most powerful countries. The corporations divide the surviving population to live under their care. To maintain their vast wealth and power, the corporations wage organized and orchestrated proxy wars, selling weapons and soldiers to warring factions. One of these factions rapidly ascends in power and eventually the Corporations are forced to recognise them as an independent mercenary force who now go by the name Ravens. They fight using the modular piloted weapon system developed prior to the catastrophe and improved since, the Armored Core.
