TTTE is one of my newer hyperfixations. i have no idea how and why, but somehow my neurons activated to get into the funny talking train show. but before i started actually indulging in this show, i saw this fanfiction and thought the premise was interesting and fun enough, so i marked it for later just in case.
this fic reminded me of All is Fair in Love and Alimari (an IOSYS song, it has its own MV. pretty much reverse Marisa Stole the Precious Thing i guess). infact, i listened to it before reading this fanfiction.
either way, im not gonna go on multi-comment criticisms because im not a good critic. i like it so far lol

It's a major plot point but, there was also many threats on the island. It leaves many dead. Sir topham hatt, after finding out that some of his engines are dead he retired and leaves more issues in his place.

Bert is still an interesting engine. He doesn’t say a word - never has, never will. And this is one of his greatest strengths! He has grown so far from where he once was, back at the Ironworks, and he is proud of this. Living with all of his friends and working at Brendam Docks everyday, he is a far cry from the engine he once was, and he is truly happy with his life, even when he has trouble expressing himself.
