Phil goes very, very still when the camera pans out in the next room to reveal a person laid out, unmoving, on an operating table. “Charlie,” he mutters unconsciously.
Thankfully, it quickly becomes clear that Charlie is still alive. But then the Puzzler gives his instructions, and everything in Philza’s stomach just fucking drops.
“No,” he hears himself say through ten feet of water. On screen, Ranboo pulls out a pair of surgical scissors. “No, Ranboo, oh my god—”OR

The escape from Showfall’s actually going pretty fucking alright, in Charlie’s opinion.
It’s been maybe half a night since Ranboo’d heaved the wire-monster off Charlie’s back with shaking bloody hands. It’s been hours since together they charged off into the dark woods around the dark mall. It’s been minutes since they stumbled to the back of the weird bright building that Ranboo calls a gas station convenience store and crouched out of sight of its windows.
Overall it sounds pretty solid, right?
Or: Five times Charlie got something, and one time he didn't.

finally not doomed to spend the rest of their lives in entertainment purgatory, ranboo, charlie, and sneeg learn that they have a lot to do in order to make any sort of return into the real world. and of course, showfall entertainment would do anything to get three of their most important cast members back. in a perfect world, healing is linear, and the three of them are okay after a month of being free. in reality, things are going to get so much worse before they can get any better.
