Summary
Low chance that Absolute Authority will be finished properly (that's just how it goes with fanfic), and also low chance that I'll do a sequel fic. But if I did, I know some of the stuff I'd do for that fic, and one of them is "the BG3 crew stomps out the Slaughterhouse Nine". So this is that, because the world deserves that even if I never get that far with the main story, and even if I decide against writing that fic out properly.

Years — or something like them — have passed. A clock ticks for each passing second, and every minute feels slower than the last. Time, in a place like this, grows tired and meaningless.
Most of the fear Mono held for the Tower has, in these eight years, worn off. He’s spent some tens of thousands of hours committed to a familiar routine: reminiscing, maintaining the signal, and reminiscing further. Some thousands of sleepless nights wasting away and seething over old wounds that never quite healed. A cold vitriol had laced itself into the static that flowed through his veins.
Still — even here, within this false-room of his, predictability eventually fails. Something looms over the City, greater than the Tower he occupies, and meddles with the Creature within.
Six, a survivalist by nature, knows that risks must be taken to prevail: even risks that dredge up painful memories she’s sought to leave behind. The looming has not gone unnoticed by a group of runaways housed just outside of the City. Six, powerful as she might be, is not enough.
