Ron Weasley's life had not ended up the way he'd envisioned it. The war was over, and the students of Hogwarts were ready to come back and redo their seventh year, but where they had gotten to experience so much of it, it was basically their eighth.
Harry kept his head held high and decided there were more important things to worry about than getting in a childish argument with Draco.
On the other hand, Draco was too bored to allow Harry to not give him at least a quick insult so that he could get through this year.
But when Madam Hooch drops a bomb on Draco and forces the boy to start training with his worst enemy for the next two weeks,
The insults start to have a completely different meaning.

TLDR:
Draco is forced to train with Harry for two weeks, which eventually leads to pent up frustration that they have to take out somewhere, but that happens to be each other.

Summary
Harry Potter likes to think of himself as an ordinary kid who just happens to be prophesied to defeat Voldemort. A perfectly standard everyman hero for everyone to relate to. He wants us to think that too.
But he's not. He has a specific, unique, and well-defined personality all his own. His life is unlike anyone else's, and it's left him with a good deal of trauma, a lot of strange quirks, and a skillset that is perfectly tailored for fighting Voldemort but slightly less useful in civilian life.
The idea that Harry is a blank slate and we can all project whatever personality and powers we want onto him is this fandom's single greatest lie. This series is for fics in which I reject that lie in favor of emphasizing and exaggerating the characteristics that he actually does have.
