Summary
L is supposed to die on November 5. He knows this because he already has—over and over again. Each time, he wakes on October 31, trapped in the same six days leading to his death. Every loop brings new suspicions, new choices, and the same bitter truth: Light Yagami is Kira.
But if killing Light won’t stop the loop, and proving it only gets him killed faster, what is L meant to do with the time he’s been given? Light’s desk catches on fire during the placement of L’s illegal surveillance cameras in the Yagami household, burning up the Death Note early on. Light forgets everything, the killings suddenly stop, and Kira fades away from the public consciousness but never from L’s. Six years later, Ryuk returns to Earth with a new Death Note for Light, now an agent in INTERPOL, ready for Round 2. L’s ready too.

Summary
