Final Fic:(80) Follow You Home: Voltron is heading home. Except, for Keith, the destination of Earth isn’t his home. There’s no one waiting for him there. And, he tries to tell himself, that it’s not like the space family he'd made up here with Voltron would abandon him as they go seek out their own loved ones on Earth. But he’s so used to being left behind so why should this time be any different? Fortunately, Pidge is right there to remind Keith just how much he belongs with all of them.

Summary
[Third and final part of the Sniper series] Voltron has rescued Lance but the person with them now is not the same boy they once knew. Even outside the Galrans’ influence Lance believes himself to be Sniper, an assassin to the Galra Empire with his final mission to eliminate Voltron. It's going to be a long, difficult journey to prove to Lance that he's safe, that they're his family, and that the horrors he committed as Sniper are not his burden to bear. And that challenge is made even more so given the fact Lance's Druid handler is still alive and the Empire isn't going to let go of their trained assassin quite so easily...

Shiro knows what he has to do. He knows but God, God this is wrong. He can’t. Keith is so scared and he’s in so much pain and there has to be something else even though Shiro knows there isn’t. They’re out of time and it’s Keith’s life or it’s his arm. And if those are the only two choices then there’s only one real answer.

Having a body again is harder than Shiro thought it would be. He’s grateful — so, so grateful — to not be trapped in the nothingness and darkness of the Astral Plane, but it’s hard to eat, hard to sleep and, as he’s terrifyingly discovered, hard to breathe. So hard in fact that sometimes he stops. And this time, as he’s pitching forward into the cold lake and his vision is going dark, he can’t seem to start again.

Summary
Shiro and Lance are forcibly taken as bartering tokens for a rebel faction. That’s bad on its own, but Lance is ill, burning up with a fever and weak with sickness. Their captors are cruel, relishing in both Lance’s suffering and in demeaning the proud former Black Paladin. And as time ticks by Lance continues to fade and no matter how much Shiro holds on he can feel him slipping away. The fear of the impending Galra imprisonment, the hopelessness he’d felt while trapped in the Astral Plane, pale in comparison to the fact Lance is going to die in his arms and there is nothing he can do.

Summary
Lines had been drawn all over the slender body. Dotted. Solid. Red. Black, blue, white, green stains against tan flesh. Others were made of stitches, of dried blood, of pain, and why had it taken them so long to find him? All of the lines sectioned off his body like some sort of science experiment, some, some thing to be studied, dissected. But, Shiro choked down the horror clawing up his throat, that’s all Lance had been to them.

Pidge suggests they stop at the space mall to get hair dye. Shiro’s incredibly on edge, and he’s reminded of a certain someone when Pidge and Lance are raving over some Earth video games at the “Earth collectibles” store.

Summary
It festered inside him.
It left him immobile. Frozen, but at the same time his fists wouldn’t stop shaking, his eyes twitching, his breath bated as each exhale wracked his body in unrecoverable and relentless grief. But yet Shiro woke up. He couldn’t stop here. Once again he needed to grit his teeth, pull himself together, and get out the door. He needed to find him again. And again. And again. And again.
He needed to for Lance.
Sometimes Shiro was close enough to feel Lance’s heartbeat through the crevice of his neck. Sometimes he was so far, he didn’t know what happened until the world fell beneath his feet once again.
He finally was able to learn his feelings for Lance.
But not without consequences.
Shiro couldn't stop it.
But he knew what he had to do.
Whether it was being ripped into two by the hands of their enemies, having been crushed under twenty thousand tons of torn metal, or even having to tear his own teammates apart… it was all to protect Lance.

As he nears halfway through his cup, Lance starts tapping his fingers on the mug, expelling some jitters. He knows he has to bring up the subject, figure out why Shiro’s awake with such heavy eye bags and how to help. He wants to help. But he doesn’t quite know how to segue into the issue. He sucks at segues.
Eh, fuck it. Segues are for straight people.
