Summary
Wooden walls rose up all too quickly before him, Wilbur slipping out of the sheltered woods to stand in the rolling fields. A smattering of golden flowers graced the long grass as he approached what he assumed was the entrance to the commune, a figure in white clothing leant against the front gate reading a paperback. They looked normal enough, with close shaven hair and warm eyes that helped ease Wilbur’s worry that he had stumbled into a group of serial killers. You know, like that movie he’d seen once, where a cult kidnapped travellers and murdered them? Or even worse, forced them to assimilate into the cult?
Anyway, the man looked nothing nice enough not to do that… hopefully.
Or, hitchhiker Wilbur stumbles upon a strange commune on his travels and gets drawn into it all to easily…
