Hyrule does not need a hero” spoken in a bitter tone, it made Warriors furrow his brows. They were always beloved in their times, well, unless they ended up in a timeline where people forgot about Time’s deeds. It was just one of them, however. He was praised in Wind’s, it wasn’t like he was completely forgotten about or despised. It seemed that this Link however, was very much not popular amongst the common.
“Thank you, sir. Safe travels” he smiled as politely as he could, almost seeing Legend roll his eyes, even if the Vet was turned around so he couldn’t see his face. “So…I suppose we have to find another one?”

Summary
When it comes to heroes saving the world and holding courage against all odds, this universe has plenty across the ages. But what happens when a danger is created that goes across time?? Thus creating a darkness that can not be defeated by one.
Well, you make all of the heroes work together of course! Forcefully bringing them all together across the timelines whether they like it or not. Of course there are many ways to do this, so many ways to build a chain with 11 separate heroes across different era’s and timelines.
This is one of them, taking place over the time of a month this chain is slowly built, but not piece by piece. No, this chain was built with multiple pieces being put together at different times until all pieces have been put in place.

Summary
Time opened his eye to a world on fire. The bittersweet smell of smoke forced its way into his lungs, and he coughed. Above him, where the roof used to be, was the moon, just as terrible and big as it had been in Termina. It filled Time’s vision.
“Oh, thank Hylia you’re awake.”
Time reluctantly peeled his eye from the giant red one in the sky and looked at the person in front of him. Warriors. His blond hair swayed gently in the breeze. The plate armor reflected the red light. His blue scarf was slightly torn by the hem. In his hand was a sword, ready to defend them both if needed. Time thought Warriors looked more like the typical storybook hero than Time ever had.Ten different versions of how the Chain met. The first nine chapters will feature a story in which eight of the Links meet their last member. The last one will feature a story about how all of them meet at once. Title may be subject to change.

Summary
Link is a failure.
It’s something he’s always known, he thinks, deep down within himself. A heavy feeling it is: failure. It seeps in through his nose, clogging his throat and making it impossible to breathe, swirling around his temples and bringing a constant ache, settling into his stomach with a weight that brings him to his knees. It loops around his arms, his fingers, holding him in its clutches until he can do nothing but succumb.
Here, in this space between light and dark, this pocket of in between realities, he succumbs. He falls, down and down and down, plummeting to a dark sea. Black and red. Blood and deep, deep water. But Link does not sink. No, he walks. That feeling, horrible and domineering, pulls him like a puppet along the raging sea.
In which the Chain meets after the events of Tears of the Kingdom and Sky is the last to join. It takes time for trust to be earned, especially with added confusion regarding the Goddess and timelines.

Summary
To say the relationships between the Heroes of Courage are complex is about a large an understatement as calling death mountain "A little warm".
See it goes like this: Time is everyone's dad. But he is also Warriors adopted little brother. Then again, Warriors is everyone's big brother while also being Twilights adoptive uncle since Time is the ranchers actual Dad. Or something. The details are fuzzy. Twilight may or may not be Wilds legal guardian (no one is really sure but everyone agrees its not quite dad status) while also being the family pet. Wild is everyone's little brother, except when hes not, unless its in relation to Legend in which case Wild is definitely the little brother. Legend is the group grandfather, although he would argue for cool uncle status. Of course there is Sky, aka group dad #2, who happens to be Legends biological grandfather (don't ask, its odd). Hyrule is big brother to everyone but Legend (his twin) and Time (his dad). Four is a brother of indeterminate age (it depends alright). And Wind? Wind is definitely the littlest little brother.

The Royal Family of Hyrule have wings, a trait carried through the blood of their line all the way down from Hylia herself. No one else is known to have this unique feature, so when Link, the Hero of Legend, grows wings when he's only six and still just a normal little boy from Kakariko, his Uncle knows they have to hide it.
Legend grows up hiding his wings and fearing the day he's discovered for them, fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, he can only put that day off for so long and eventually he is discovered.- Words:

Up there, the moon and sun were so close he could almost touch them. On the surface, however, it was the opposite. He could barely even see the moon on most nights.
But now that he was back here, all the waiting had been worth it.
