Summary
"Though this is a dream, do not dismiss it as mere fantasy."
Nine heroes from across three timelines, brought together to fight an ancient evil. You've heard it before, I'm sure.
But what if?
What if one of the Heroes wasn't what he claimed?
What if the Lost Woods never let go of their found child?
What if the Hero of Warriors bound her chest and spoke without voice?
What if things were just a little bit different? The Chain remains, but its links are rusted.
Welcome to the Skylands.

Summary
The Links walk through a portal and find themselves in a world where death is no longer the worst that can happen. Their strength has been drained, their abilities have been altered, and several secrets are about to come to light as the relationship between bearers of the Hero's Spirit is revealed in ways it's never been before.
What connection does this new world have to their quest? And why do they keep hearing dice rolling?
Arc 1 (Ch 1-21): Bandits and drow cause trouble around a small coastal town.
Arc 2 (Ch 22-39): The corrupted government hides secrets beneath the sewers of a major city.
Arc 3 (Ch 40-60): Using what they've learned, the Chain goes after Ganon and the mad deity responsible for the mess.Self-imposed challenge:
- Write the LU boys with the abilities of D&D 5E PCs.
- No multi-classing, do not let any Link share the same class as another Link, use all 13 official 5E classes (use OCs as necessary to cover all the classes).
- Use only official character options.
- Use every class feature that each member of the Chain gets.
- Take the characters from Level 1 to Level 20.-

Summary
At the end of their adventure, the four heroes of the Four Sword must become one yet again. Unexpectedly, though their bodies became one, their minds remained separate. With sadness in their hearts over Shadow's sacrifice, they (primarily Vio) research ways to bring him back. They manage to bring him back, and they live a normal life together for awhile. That is until a portal brings them on another adventure with many other "Links" from across time.
It was very concerning for the colors when suddenly, while walking with the chain, Shadow states, "something's wrong." before disappearing from their now shared body. It was even more concerning for the rest of the chain when Four collapsed to the ground a moment later, completely unresponsive.
Where Shadow ended up though was definitely not what anyone could have expected. He appeared in a group of people who all claimed they were in a romantic relationship with a Link. Now, with no other known objectives, they have to search for the chain as they continue traveling through different portals across time.

Summary
After a year of safety and recovery, Prince Legend is preparing to challenge the king and claim the throne. The kingdom is suffering from poverty, prejudice and war, and Legend’s new family cannot let that stand. It is time for plans to be made and rumors to be spread.
Follow the EOS boys as they continue to grow, as they plan and love and cry, as they fight injustice and support each other, and whoever they grow close to along the way.
Will Sky figure out how to live for himself? Will Warriors see that his value doesn’t lie in sacrifice? Will magic users be accepted, will the war be resolved peacefully, will the criminal organizations running rampant in Castle Town be stopped? (Will the character subplots and interludes ever stay within one chapter instead of growing lives of their own?)
OR Have fun storming the castle! The hardest part is what happens after :D
The (long-awaited?) sequel to EOS (in which the loose ends grow loose ends and we knit the unravelled storyline skeins up into a lovely tapestry.) Now with your fave supporting LU characters!
In fluff and in angst, in banter and in tears, till fic end do us part, there is a story to be told and it did not end when EOS did.

Summary
It was a well known fact among the Heroes of Courage that Legend did not hold the goddess Hylia in high regard. He regularly cursed Her name, scoffed at Her mention, and had stolen offerings from Her shrines on multiple occasions. Not many in the group fully understood or agreed with these actions, but eventually everyone had learned to keep their opinions to themselves to avoid conflict. For the most part this agreement worked perfectly, however, it led to some misconceptions.

-Before he could finish saying his thoughts about Sun, Legend interrupted with a groan as he realized what the statue in front of them was depicting. “Holy shit, that statue’s almost as big as Hylia’s ego. Tell me we don’t need to wait there Sky.”
“Oh, um, you can stay inside the temple if you want but I think there’s another statue there too,” Sky responded hesitantly. He had forgotten how much Legend seemed to despise the goddess.
Twilight shot Legend a disapproving look and put a hand on Sky’s shoulder. “What were you saying about Sun?”
Sky wasn’t sure how to continue anymore. He didn’t want to tell Legend about Sun being Hylia’s mortal incarnation if it would make him that upset, but he didn’t want to lie either. He settled for avoiding the subject until he had a plan, “Well, she’s my girlfriend, most of my adventure was about trying to help her. She’s incredibly fierce, but one of the most caring people I know! I’ve really missed her, I’m excited for you all to meet her.”
-
Legend knew he could be an ass sometimes. It’s not like he enjoyed upsetting people, but he learned a lot from his adventures. For one, it doesn’t always pay to be polite. His uncle had taught him manners and raised him to be respectful, but after he was killed by the same knights he told Legend to respect, it became a lot harder to listen. Being polite only ended up with a sword in the back. That being said, he wasn’t disrespectful to Hylia just because he was bitter. And he really did try to suppress his instinctual reaction to Her around the group, especially Sky. It was just complicated. Most things are, but he didn’t want to tell a group of strangers his entire experience with religion, the goddess Hylia, and his family issues just to make them less uncomfortable. After almost two months together though, Legend was starting to change his mind.
Sky had called down his loftwing once they reached the sacred temple. The plan was that Sky would go ahead on his own to explain their newest adventure to Sun and get some of his friends to come down to the surface with loftwings to get everyone on Skyloft. However, Sky seemed weirdly on edge as he was mounting his loftwing. Just before he was about to take off, he looked to Legend.
“Legend,” he started, “you should just come with me now. You know, because you didn’t want to be by the uh, statue.”
Now, Legend immediately figured out that he was lying about something. It didn’t take a genius to see how nervous Sky looked, but he agreed anyway. Legend himself had lied to the others countless times to keep secrets or avoid upsetting someone. However, even if he wasn’t going to call Sky out, he was by no means going to let it go.
-“Who are you! How do you know Link!” The man demanded.
Legend raised an eyebrow. “I don’t know who the hell you are but you have about five seconds to get out of my face before I push you off of this island.”
-
Legend couldn’t help himself from rolling his eyes. If anything, he was the most qualified to talk about Hylia. He was her descendant after all.He frowned as his mind wandered once more. Legend was technically the Prince of Hyrule. Realistically, he didn’t grow up in the castle and had no authority, but ever since he and Fable found out during his first adventure she had been doing her best to fix that. That means though, if all of the Zelda’s were part of the same royal family– did that make Sun and Sky his ancestors? Legend choked on his saliva and flew into a coughing fit.
Fuck.Fuck. He started to understand why Sky was being so secretive. Everyone in Hyrule knew that the royal bloodline is only royal because it was started by Hylia herself. Sun said herself that she isn’t a princess, so she and Sky had to be the ones that started the royal family. Legend came to two possible conclusions: either Sun was Hylia’s child, or Sun was Hylia. Both options seemed insane, but Legend had seen much crazier things in his life. He had to talk to Sun again.

Summary
“Oh! We gotta teach you the rules!” Wind said.
“The rules?”
“Yeah! You know, of being a hero! The things you have to do, the things you can't do. The rules!”Fable, also known as Princess Zelda, is travelling with a bunch of heroes from other eras. They're on a quest to save her brother and nine princesses from the clutches of darkness (quite literally, mind you). But Fable doesn't know much about being a hero. Luckily for her, she has eight heroes to teach her. Unfortunately, heroes give horrendous advice.
Meanwhile, Legend has been kidnapped. As his era's hero, this is something of a new experience for him. How convenient, that he has nine experts to ask for advice, then. After all, who knows more about being kidnapped than the princesses of Hyrule?Series

It's been a long day and a hard battle. Everyone is worn out and tired, but sleep will be hard won... if it is won at all. The chain hunkers down for what they're sure will be a sleepless night. Except Sky. He's never had a problem with sleeping after all. And he's on first watch. Concerned for his brothers, he decides to play a lullaby from each of their lands to coax them to sleep. Or at least help them relax a little. To his surprise, it actually works.
Or
I assign a lullaby to every person in the LU chain. (Now with a surprise second chapter with a lullaby for Sky!)

Summary
Legend was not the kindest Link, he was sharp and he was not afraid to snap at anyone for any reason. This causes some problems between him and Twilight.
Legend honestly is just bad at talking to people, so when his inability to be nice when trying to tell someone to take some personal regard for their safety (at least from his perspective) is called out, he decides to fall back on some old, fairly unhealthy coping mechanisms: specifically, silence.

Sky's breath hitches. They are similar. Sky can see it every time he looks at Wild for a moment too long, every time the hero tells of his own tale. Their stories are similar, but they are terribly, terribly different in all the ways that matter.
Wild turns, slowly.
"You…never defeated Demise, did you?"
