When Steve and Bucky are captured by Ross in an attempt to free Team Cap from the Raft, Bucky is sold to Madripoor and Steve is kept on the Raft. Steve manages to temporarily escape his cell to call Tony in a desperate attempt to help Bucky.
But that was two weeks ago. Tony has already dealt with that, now he's about to find out what happened to Steve after that call.
There's a reason solitary confinement is considered torture under the UN.

In retrospect, he should have known better.
Molly assumes it’s a misunderstanding; it wouldn’t be the first time his infernal heritage has caused him trouble, someone of small mind and smaller sensibilities taking exception to his presence and assuming he’s up to no good. Point being, he isn’t overly surprised when he’s approached by two Crownsguard asking that he please come with them.
They’re polite, apologetic, and he’ll kick himself later at how easily they take him in, how completely he buys it. It takes him longer than it should to realize they’re not headed to the city’s stockade, to realize they’re going the wrong way. When he turns to one of them to ask where they’re going, that’s when everything goes to shit as the man at his back clocks him on the back of the head and the world goes dim and watery. Before he can react, the man hits him again and Molly crumples, everything going dark.

The problem, Caleb thinks, with naming all your new spells after yourself, is that eventually people are going to notice you’re smart.
Normally, he doesn’t have a problem with this; he’s well-aware how intelligent he is, though certainly not the only one within the Nein to have a high intellect. No, the main issue, he suspects, is that once people realize what you’re capable of, some of those people are like as not going to want to use that capability for nefarious purposes. Really, it's something he should be used to by now.

Was that them? Had the others come after the people who had taken him, Jester, and Yasha? In his previous lucid moments, Fjord had wondered if they would. Molly might, he’d thought, if only because of Yasha. Beau too. She hid it well, but from the beginning she struck Fjord as the type to go running into trouble for others. He was less certain about Caleb and Nott. They might have finally cut their losses and ran, or not. Or the fight going on right now might not be them at all.
He almost hoped it wasn’t. He wasn’t sure they’d be up to it, even if all seven of them were there, free and in fighting shape.
