Summary
Only a week ago, Geralt and Jaskier walked into a tiny town on the outskirts of the mountains. They had time for one look around: the shacks for homes, the loose, decayed dirt at their feet, and trees with wide cracks in their trunks.
Then the villagers descended upon them.
Or: Geralt and Jaskier are offered a hefty chunk of coin to lead a down-on-their-luck village through a mountain range. However, when the journey takes much longer than expected, temperatures plummet, and food runs scarce, Geralt must choose between Jaskier and the villagers he has sworn to protect. For Jaskier, this is a hard choice.
For Geralt, it's not.

“We can get there before the end of a week,” Geralt says, with confidence he doesn’t feel. He keeps his tone even. In better circumstances, they’d be there by the end of the night; if Geralt could simply hoist them up and run with them, he would.
That’s impossible, though, and he’s left only with frail reality. He wants to get them up the mountain in two more days, maybe two-and-a-half, to accommodate for breaks as often as Jaskier and Ciri may need. Without a doubt, Jaskier needs to be in a warm, dry bed in at least two days. It’d be better if he was there now, but now is impossible.
Jaskier nods firmly. He swipes at his face with the edge of his sleeve, exhales slowly again. “I can do that.”

He didn’t used to be this way. Sometimes he wonders if he could have been capable, if he had anything so precious to him he’d give his life and heart for. Call it dedication, devotion, even codependency, none of it matters. All Ghost knows is that he belongs to Soap, and Soap belongs to him.
He’s trained, and whatever he loves carries the harsh indents of teeth marks.

Soap choked, the water he’d sipped lodging itself unattractively in the wrong tube. Ghost gave him an empathetic look. He pulled his arm from the chair to rub Soap’s back, squeezing once before letting him go. Soap wasn’t sure what was worse, the way he couldn’t quit hacking or how his face flamed at the physical contact. Maybe both.
“It’s a work in progress,” Price said offhandedly. “We’ll see what the shoot brings before we decide.”

Summary
Geralt’s hot breath hits his neck, leaving goosebumps in its wake as he continues letting out cut-off groans each time his tented pants grind against Jaskier. Their breaths sound loud compared to the silence of their house, furthering that all that matters is them in this moment.
“D-darling,” Jaskier whines, needy. “Come on,” He pants out, moving his hands to tangle in Geralt’s hair, tugging just enough to make the Witcher groan in pleasure, leading Geralt out from his neck to make eye contact with him. Jaskier forgets everything in that moment.
Geralt looks wrecked, deliciously so.
His eyes are nearly all black, just the thinnest hint of gold wraps around his pupils. His cheeks flushed a gentle pink as he let out audible pants of air.
Jaskier only sees him like this after tying him down to their bed with a pretty cockring on and fucking him several times over with his favorite strap-on, making the Witcher beg ever so desperately for release after Jaskier has gotten his fill. Seeing him like this without having done anything sends a sharp thrill through him.
Or
Jaskier tries a pheromone enhancer oil not thinking it would do anything. Oh, how wrong he is.

For a moment, Soap let the silence sink in. Let himself shift his gaze slightly to the side and rest on Ghost’s thick thigh, fat with the softness of his relaxed muscle, lightly dusted with fine blond hairs. He wanted to sweep the tips of his fingers delicately over those hairs, see if they were as downy as they looked. Wanted to see the way Ghost’s muscles would twitch at the sensation, wanted to see if he’d shy away or press into the touch. Wanted to know if he’d like it.
Would probably end up with a knife in his gut, but at this point, Soap thought it was probably worth it. For one touch, it might be worth it.
It's 3:30 in the morning, and Soap and Ghost can't sleep. How will they pass the time.

Summary
Price's office door is cracked open when they make it to him. Soap knocks gently on the door frame anyway before bustling in with all of his gear. He would've liked to put his things down but he did say straight there.
"Right on time. Good to see you back in one piece."
Ghost closes the door behind him and the two of them stand there like kids sweating, trying to figure out if they're in trouble before the hammer drops.
"I'll cut straight to it, eh? Effective immediately you boys are on a mandatory six week leave."
Ghost's eyes go buck.
"Can I ask why, sir? Are we being investigated or something?" Soap's doing all the damage control he can but he's just as shocked as Ghost. He can't remember doing anything in the past six months that would result in being sent on involuntary leave. All thing's considered he's been keeping his nose clean; he's not even keeping explosives in his locker anymore.
Ghost and Soap can't put off taking their leaves anymore, and are sent on an involuntary vacation. Surely they can find something to do to keep themselves occupied.
