When her magical abilities manifest themselves as a lightning storm before the nobility of Thedas, Sigrid Trevelyan is hauled off to the Ostwick Circle of Magi to hone her abilities as a Mage, to be of use to the Chantry and, most importantly, to be kept locked away from the outside world.
Ostwick Circle, however, is not the sedate sanctuary of learning and care that it purports itself to be to outsiders. Deep corruption festers at the root, its thorned tendrils twisting itself around the very Mages it was meant to protect.
As the tendrils take hold of Sigrid, she must learn to endure and survive the supposedly sedate Circle, lest she succumb to its eventual stranglehold.

He meets Evie, the bann daughter who is quickly means more to Cullen than he ever imagines. Even when running from destiny, fate will find the pair and set them on a grand mission to rebalance Thedas.
Rebalance creates a Soulmate AU Thedas that adds new twists to the games’ whirlwind stories.
