Summary

How To Train Your Dragon, Rise of the Guardians are properties of DreamWorks Animation. Brave, Meet the Robinsons, Bolt and the Incredibles are owned by Walt Disney Studios. House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones belong to HBO Max.
P.S. This is also a spin-off of my HTTYD-House of the Dragon crossover which features a couple of elements from both the franchise and the books.

Summary
Ever since that day, the one where Bolt saved her for real, not one of their many fake rescues like on the show, but a real one, she had been thinking about him a lot, clinging to him a lot.
She was scared. Traumatized? Maybe not that far, but she had been going through a lot between the risk to her life, her time in the hospital, quitting the show and moving across the country...
So she was clinging to what was familiar. Clinging to her knight in shining fur, the one who saved her life.
She'd been dreaming about him a lot.
A lot of faithful adaptations of that day. Just her mind reliving that day.
Some nightmares, where he never showed up to save her...
...and some... stranger dreams, where that "knight in shining fur" thing was a bit more literal, and she was a princess...
But none of that could compare to what was to come next.

It had been many years, and Penny, now an adult, had decided to go to college.
But she wasn't going alone, of course. She'd somehow managed to get Bolt a spot in her dorm with her!
And so, Bolt was right there with her to support her and comfort her as she lived on her own for the first time, and experienced the college lifestyle.
That, of course, meant hardly sleeping, having no money ever, and eating ramen noodles for 80% of her meals.
One time she even tried eating his dog food... she didn't try that again.
Penny was already quite used to having Bolt everywhere she went, and staying in small places with him due to their trailer back on the TV show... But living in the tiny college dorm really pushed it.
As she became more and more comfortable with him, and more and more tired, and stopped caring about appearances... Seeing his human naked started to become a regular occurrence.
