Living life as a Victor is… well, it's just sort of strange.
This morning, Maysilee had woken up screaming. She'd jerked up from her pillows like a rope had gone taut, and she'd let out a cry so loud and pained that it had apparently made Haymitch drop and shatter a glass bowl downstairs in the kitchen. By the time Lenore Dove had run up the stairs and into Maysilee's bedroom, Maysilee was curled up against the headboard, one hand covering her throat, the other swiping furiously at candy-pink birds that only she could see as she gasped for breath that never came.
Much of life as a Victor was miserable. Nightmares and grief and a rising sense of panic, always rising, never providing any kind of real relief.
And then other times, it was stupid stuff like this. It was sitting across a coffee table from Haymitch, arguing over a stupid game of Jenga.

There was a faint ringing in Peeta’s ears, like the piercing feedback from a microphone that kept playing over and over on a loop. Eventually it took the form of someone speaking. President Snow stood in front of Katniss’ body, his lips moving, his eyes bare. There was no emotion, no remorse. He spoke of consequences. A reminder of the Game’s purpose. One victor to make up for all that was fought and lost. The loss of District 13. And now the end of Katniss Everdeen.

Summary
When Katniss envisions making a memorial book for the lost rebels and tributes, she knows that it won't be complete without Haymitch's perspective. He is, after all, the only person who lived through the second Quarter Quell, and one of the oldest tributes still alive. Haymitch, however, has been enjoying something resembling peace since the end of the rebellion, and she isn't sure if she'll be willing to convince him to revisit the time before.

They’ve lost more than they would have if they had died in the Games. It wouldn’t have been worth it, but the thud thud of Wooyoung’s racing heart makes San selfish.
How could I have let you die? How could I not have been selfish? Is it fair that I would kill a million tributes in that arena even if it destroyed me if it meant you’d be alive still, that you would survive?
Or, San and Wooyoung have won the Hunger Games, but dealing with the aftermath isn't easy. Then again, nothing has ever been easy for them, but at least they have each other.

Okay lol, there was a law thatvthey didnt like so they went to 14. It took them weeks!!!
When they git there that was the only time the law was discussed but not fully, the new leadees wanted any mentiin of hg removed from the curriculum and they know it was inly the start, soon they will re-established HG.
Lol they took weeks in the wilderness to go to 12 and then haymitch arrieved tjere in 3 days aghshsvsd THEY COULD HAVE RIDE ON A TRAIN.
