The sows would laugh at him the next morning when he complained about how it hurt his ears, and they’d tell him that, when he became a boar, the screams would sound like music to his ears.
The Colosseum is somewhat similar. The screams aren’t high-pitched and gratey, but they echo in his ears at night when he tries to sleep. (fun fact: he doesn’t sleep much)
