Dennis Whitaker needs advice; like good, solid, strong advice that he cannot, under any circumstances, get from the people he works with. It would reveal too much and he needs to maintain control of the situation at all costs. So what does he do? Well, he goes to Reddit of course!
u/closetedInDaPit - My roommate [27F] thinks I’m [27M] being baby trapped by a widow [26F], what she doesn’t know is that I’m gay [seeking advice]

CC: [email protected]subject: Communication issues in the ER dayshift
Dear Mrs. Marla Derwitz,
as I'm sure you are aware, we have been trying to digitize the work process.
As part of this intiative the dayshift crew of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Centre has been encouraged to use a group chat for smoother, more effective communications. They have been using the chat for one shift now and it has been used to incite harassment and threats. As a result, the effort to integrate this chat have been momentarily seized and an HR incident report has been deemed necessary. As the head of HR I leave this issue with you and trust you'll be able to resolve it swiftly and with the necessary tact.I have compiled and sent you screenshots of all the relevant messages.
Best wishes,
Dr. Gloria Underwood, Chief Medical Officer, PITMCBookmarked by Abicasson

“I may need a rain check.”
Two sentences end up sending Trinity spiraling in the middle of her 4th of July shift. When she has a panic attack Trinity finds support in an unlikely place and is reminded that leaning on people isn't weakness. If only it were that simple.
Or: Trinity Santos has lived her life in survival mode for so long she's forgotten what it feels like to actually live.

Summary
Three weeks after ending a ten month situationship, Trinity Santos transfers to night shift hoping that new routines, new people, and a new shift will be enough to outrun one heartbreak.
Instead, she finds Jack Abbot loudly claiming her as one of his own, John Shen making coffee that should qualify as a controlled substance, Parker Ellis providing an endless running commentary, Crus being Crus, and Emery Walsh appearing often enough that "coincidence" starts losing all meaning.
As impossible traumas, 3am coffees and endless night shifts slowly become routine, strangers become family and nights begin to feel like home. For the first time in a long time, Trinity starts building a life she never thought she'd have.
But healing is rarely linear, and some ghosts don't stay buried just because you've changed shifts. When the past finally catches up with her, Trinity is forced to decide whether letting someone truly know her is worth the risk of losing them.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't surviving what happened to you. It's believing someone could know all of it and choose to stay anyway.
Emery Walsh has decided. She isn't going anywhere.

Summary
“Let me be clear: it would require a huge sacrifice,” Price said, and Soap got the feeling Price was now addressing him and only him. “A lot of things would still change. But, if we do it, we wouldn’t have to add anyone new to the team, and we’d fulfill the requirements of the mandate.”
Price looked around the room slowly, finally landing back on Soap.
“Sergeant MacTavish, you’re the one we’re asking to make this sacrifice.”
This time he was sure everyone was looking at him. He squared his shoulders, tried to shrug off the apprehension Price’s words inspired, and faced Price head-on.
“You know I’ll do it if I can, Captain. Tell me what you want me to do.”
Price took a breath, hesitated, then cleared his throat. The air was still and thick. No one else moved a muscle.
“Soap, there’s no delicate way to say this. We want to bitch you.”
Soap’s ears started ringing. He felt his face go hot.
“Come again?”

Summary
After returning from Afghanistan Buck and Eddie move to LA to put down roots and in the process build the family they deserve, not the ones they were born with.
-
“What are you doing here?” Buck asked, “I thought you were going to station six?”
Eddie had that shit eating grin he got whenever he was being a cheeky bastard, “Last minute change of plans.” He gave a faux nonchalant shrug.
Suddenly Buck’s face fell into a suspicious glare, “You’re not fucking with me, are you? Rocking up to tease me with those abs of yours and then fucking off to your actual station?”
Eddie’s smile turned fond, enough confirmation that this was for real, “No, I’m here for good.”
“Good, I’ll introduce you then.” Eddie followed Buck as he led him back to the small group, “Everyone this is Eddie Diaz, Eddie this is Hen, Bobby and Chimney.”
“I didn’t realise you two knew each other.” Bobby said, analysing the two of them.
Eddie and Buck began to laugh in unison, “Know each other?” Buck said, speaking through the laugh.
“We share a mortgage.” Eddie finished for him.

Mischief’s Groupchats by ReindeerGamesofMischief

Summary
It's really quite simple. There are four couples, right? And they're spread out through three cities across the US. Los Angeles, Honolulu, and Chicago. In each couple, one of the partner is a Navy SEAL. The other half is a First Responder. But so is the Navy SEAL. We have four firefighters, three detectives, and Steve. Are you keeping track? Did you remember to carry the one?
It's hard to keep it straight, especially when none of them are straight. But that's okay, because they have each other for support.
Come join this world as these four couples interact with the world in their own brand of shenanigans that are probably only best handled by each other.

A loosely connected series of GhostSoap fics based on my own headcannons, through the course of their relationship. They won't necessarily be posted in order, but they will be ordered chronologically as they are posted. Based on prompts for whumptober, angstober, and flufftober, there will be a lot of whump, hurt/comfort, and some spice later on. Heed the tags!

“You really know nothing about demons, do you? You’d think after generations of huntresses using their magical voices to steal everyone’s hearts and damn us all, you lot would have figured out the most basic thing about demons. But no. We have patterns, that’s all that matters to you. That’s all we need to be evil, right? Well, if patterns make you evil, then what do yours say about you?”
--
When Jinu first proposed a demon boy band, all he wanted was to keep his boys safe and out of Gwi-ma's reach for just a little longer. He never expected to find a half-demon huntress. He never expected the Honmoon to shatter. He never expected what came after.

Summary
Sometimes people break, they crumble, or they simply just feel too much at once. Each chapter is just that: the girls needing comfort to get through the harsher days. Zoey, Mira and Rumi all need some good love and cuddling.
Three chapters, one for each girl, and one to give them each a little loving attention.
~~
It's just hurt/comfort that was requested tbh. Same universe as my other Polytrix fic.
