Summary
Tim could recall that night in the cavern quite clearly.
The way Ra’s and Slade used him and abused him in front of Dick to make him cave. How they manipulated his older brother by torturing him and nearly raping him in front of Dick so that he would give himself up to Slade.
He remembered the utter sick feeling he felt when he saw Dick’s terrified face, how his voice cracked and strained with desperation and fear.
How could he ever forgive himself for that? For putting his brother through such pain and torture?
So when Jason, Damian and Steph told him that he would be seeing Dick as soon as they landed the plane, Tim was scared. He didn’t know what to expect.

Summary
It was a normal enough night. Nothing was out of the ordinary during patrol and no major rogues had been spotted. Everyone was home and at ease. It was quiet, pleasant and calm.
So no one had given a second thought when Bruce disappeared into the medbay, muttering about getting an aspirin for a headache. That was the first sign.
He was in his Batman suit despite the fact that they had already changed half an hour ago. That was the second sign that they all missed.
Tim should have known something was up. Then maybe, what happened next could have been avoided.

Gun Batman (Evil Tim from the future) comes back.

Jason Todd bit his lip as his face became thoughtful. “You…” he said haltingly. “You were getting a hell of a beating. I… came and saved you.”

He hesitated, hesitated but nonetheless replied, “I got blasted by cuddle pollen. It’s why I tripped. It’s why I got caught.”
The line went dead silent.
Tim clenched his fists as the pale figure uncovered his face. “I’m sorry.”
The line split off into a cacophony of sounds. But Tim couldn’t hear any of it, because the stone and crumbles of cement and wood slipped off the purple suit and the pale man sat up, a hand going to his sickeningly green hair.
He was trapped. Trapped within a building’s remains with a conscious Joker, dipped head-to-toe in cuddle pollen which was already starting to become close to unbearable without human touch.
OR
A cuddle-pollened Tim gets stuck in a collapsed building with the Joker.

Summary
The holidays are Tim's most favorite time of year.
He doesn't mean that like most people mean it, where they say "holidays," but they really only celebrate the one, and all the others are just happening at the same time. Tim celebrates ALL the holidays.
He's usually very good at keeping the various family tradition stories straight, too. He's been Jewish; he's been Christian; he's been pagan; he's been Muslim. Sometimes all at the same time. But this year...well, this year the Waynes are suddenly getting involved, and Tim starts to realize how hard it is to keep stories straight and less-than-stellar upbringings hidden when people are actually listening to you.
It's weird, Tim decides. And he's not sure he likes it.
(A year in the life of Tim Drake, as told through the various holiday parties of the Gotham elite and the unexpected lessons on privilege, bias, and various -isms that come with 'em. And maybe a little bit of friendship and understanding along the way, since we all know this has to end with Tim joining the Batfam early, right?)

Summary

its not just about the fic. its about- its about the characters gosh. the characters, the development, the way fiction reflects real world and the story gives so much freaking hope so much.
its about physical disability and drug addiction (due to pain medication) and then overcoming it and living life despite pain and suffering and pushing yourself to be the best and i just-
