“Let’s get this over with,” the villain gritted out. “Pick up the kid. The sooner we move, the better.”
“Wait,” Damian called out before he could take his first step. “I want to establish a truce first. You don’t hurt me or Robin, I don’t hurt you.”
Through body language alone he could tell Radar was rolling his eyes. “Whatever. Deal. Just don’t expect me to protect you if we run into them.”
Damian frowned. “Who?”
He turned back and smirked, “Your dear grandpa’s henchmen. Didn’t think I was running through Gotham for fun, did you?”
OR
Reverse Robins AU where Damian's the eldest, Tim died and came back, Jason is Robin and they're all trapped in Gotham's underground tunnel system with the League of Assassins at their back.
Oh, and one more thing... Damian and Jason don't know who is behind that Radar mask, the man who somehow knows their identities and knows exactly how to push their buttons, but Damian will be damned if he lets his little brother out of his sight again. He was not going to repeat the same mistake.

As he meandered through the hallways, he barely acknowledged the whispers until two words caught his ear.
“Gutter rat.”
He turned from his course and walked straight to the freshman douche who said it. Without hesitation or thought, he pulled his fist back and punched him.
It was the same punch Jason taught him how to use.
He punched him again. Then he couldn’t stop. All he could hear was the sound of fist on flesh. All he could see was blood pooling under his fists.
Someone pulled him away, but the haze of anger and grief still stayed. He didn’t struggle. Numb to his bones.
He wondered if this was how Jason had felt, in that warehouse before he died.

Summary
The holidays are Tim's most favorite time of year.
He doesn't mean that like most people mean it, where they say "holidays," but they really only celebrate the one, and all the others are just happening at the same time. Tim celebrates ALL the holidays.
He's usually very good at keeping the various family tradition stories straight, too. He's been Jewish; he's been Christian; he's been pagan; he's been Muslim. Sometimes all at the same time. But this year...well, this year the Waynes are suddenly getting involved, and Tim starts to realize how hard it is to keep stories straight and less-than-stellar upbringings hidden when people are actually listening to you.
It's weird, Tim decides. And he's not sure he likes it.
(A year in the life of Tim Drake, as told through the various holiday parties of the Gotham elite and the unexpected lessons on privilege, bias, and various -isms that come with 'em. And maybe a little bit of friendship and understanding along the way, since we all know this has to end with Tim joining the Batfam early, right?)
