Summary
The Scream franchise is drying up after the controversy with Melissa Barrera, with fans dropping the series and the storyline seemingly put to an end without its main star. However, when a real-life Ghostface starts to attack and kill the recent cast additions from Scream V and VI, there’s a new stir around the franchise.
(my take on Scream 7. Inspired by Wes Craven's New Nightmare)

Summary
After a sports-related injury, Wes turns to drugs in order to achieve the same rush that the validation gave him and to escape the humiliation that comes with his injury. What started as a coping mechanism quickly grows into a full-fledged addiction.
NOTE: i use the characters and basic relationships, but the plot is so far removed from the movie that this is lowkey an original work lol.

Randy wakes up from a chilling nightmare only to find out he was hungry. When he goes to the kitchen for a late-night snack, he realizes something is wrong—homicidally wrong.
*this is like a way different take on an opening to Scream (1996) centric on Randy because he's my favorite :)

"You wanna do it?" Stu asked in a whisper, holding the knife. "You gotta do something---this or chase her in the house," Stu told him. "Which one?"

Summary
Because he’s watched and rewatched so many, Randy would consider himself an expert on slashers. So, when a masked killer starts attacking their town, he uses his knowledge to avoid getting killed.
OR
Billy and Stu just can’t seem to kill Randy.
IMPORTANT: There are two endings, so the non-con elements and murder kink (basically all the sexual stuff) only apply to The Bad Ending. The main part of the story and The Good (Official) Ending are clear of those <3

After the events of Scream (1996), Randy deals with chronic pain from the bullet shot through his shoulder. His painkillers don't do enough, and he can't sleep most nights due to his pain. He eventually gets a medical marijuana card, and uses weed to ease his pains. At first, it was only used as a last resort when he couldn't sleep. Then, it blossomed into a full blown addiction.
Randy's life gets flipped on its head (including sustaining multiple injuries, getting arrested, getting hospitalized, and doing anything to get weed in his system), and he chops it up to a curse bestowed on him by a dead psycho---The Curse of Billy Loomis.
