Andromeda Jones gives up a life in Zuzu city, bone-tired of fighting against Joja Corp's low pay and poor career mobility to live in Stardew Valley on an ancient looking farm which happens to be infested with monsters after sundown.
She doesn't mind the darkness or the monsters so much after some time, and eventually finds out she has a gift for the abundant natural magic all around her.
Not everyone appreciates that kind of lifestyle, but when Andi stumbles into someone who does, somehow her world changes even more than she expected.

When a new farmer moved in, life seemed to improve for much of the valley. The old farm simulated much of the local economy, allowing for growth and expansion. They brought Pelican Town together in a way that hasn't happened in many years. Well, most of Pelican Town. Shane was always a loner, preferring to stay out of the way when it comes to these things. Yet, the farmer still made an effort, bringing him his absolute favorite things, and always making an effort to find and talk to him. And he didn't even remember the farmer's name.
Nobody had expected the farmer to completely restore the dilapidated community center. It seemed like an impossible task for one person. It was another event to bring the town together, with everyone showing up to celebrate. Well, everyone but Shane. Jas got bored, so he took it as an excuse to take her and Vincent to the playground. And that's when he saw the explosion.
