    Shadow relaxed a little and turned back in the direction Rouge was staring. He saw them in the middle of the water playing some childish game. Sonic was straddling Knuckles against Storm, with Jet on top of him. Both Jet and Sonic's hands were intertwined, their shoulders clenched, and they bared their teeth at each other in a violent attempt to push each other back.

    Sonic staggered backward, losing some of his balance and letting go of Jet, who had a smirk on his face. Sonic arms swirled in the air in an attempt to regain his balance. Shadow narrowed his sharp eyes at them as he saw Knuckles quickly bend forward to stop the other from falling. His hand rose to Sonic's upper thigh, near his privates, gripping tightly on his inner thigh, squeezing it to hold him against his shoulder and prevent him from falling.

    Rouge quickly stared at Shadow for a reaction, seeing a dark expression on his face, his grip on his glass of fruit juice strong, almost breaking it
