But on occasion, she would wonder…why couldn't she have something normal?
Sari hadn't had a normal childhood. She didn't have a mom, she didn't have any friends, and for a time, she didn't even have a dad. Then, she grew up into her teenage years in the blink of an eye, and was promptly made to fight in a war that she had no say in. And while she wouldn't trade any of it for the world, Sari just wished she had something normal, and boring, and plain.
And for a moment in time, Sari thought that she had found it. Roxy was the most typical of girls that Sari had ever met, and had the pleasure of dating.
