In an AU of the Bad Future Timeline, it's Leo who dies, not Donnie. After his twin's death, Donnie snaps, becoming as dark as everyone always jokes he would. In his grief, he decides that he needs to get Leo back and protect him, even if it means taking over the whole past world to destroy any threats to his brother. Michelangelo's time portal gives him this opportunity, and he travels to the past with his nephew Casey Jones Jr, intent on remaking the world in his image and getting his twin back, no matter the cost.
This one gets dark people! Like really dark! it's basically "what if Future!Donnie lost his twin and it caused him to snap and become a Supervillain"

Soon, she'd wake up.. But that time wasn't now, as a multicolored portal sparked to life just above the water filled tub and sucked the mutant turtle into it's unstable swirling vortex.

2k12 Leo gets mistaken for a regular ol' accidentally mutated person by the Rise turtles, which ends up in confusion and chaos when she finally wakes up again and realizes, "hey, this isn't where I'm supposed to be".
