Summary
Nightmare rescued Cross, beaten and bloody, from the soldiers personal hell. Gave him a home. A safe space. A place away from the castle where Cross could heal and process before the guardian offered the soldier a spot in his ranks. He wanted Cross to come to terms on his own time. Wanted to give him plenty of time to think over the offer, and would graciously accept Cross' refusal if he chose to do so. That unfortunately changed when a demon from the soldiers past decided to shatter that bubble of safety.
Now, the guard needs a more secure safety net, and Nightmare is willing to provide it. Himself and his gang would easily take in another soul in need of stability and companionship. Another safe space.
Little did he know Cross would be able to provide something similar for the guardian himself.Series

Summary

Summary
”The fuck do they mean ‘Sell you’? What the hell?” Killer snapped, his soul twisting in his mounting agitation. Horror growled low, eyesockets narrowed while Nightmare and Error trembled with rage. It’s Dust that puts the pieces together and asks the dreaded question.
“Cross…were you a child bride?”
The question hangs heavy in the air, no one daring to even breathe. Nightmare and Error are hoping beyond hope that Cross will denying it, that their youngest hasn’t been subjected to such atrocities. Their souls break when Cross gives a small miserable nod.

Summary
In a world of gods and guardians, it would be expected that some would fall for mortals, and inevitable in such cases that demigods would result.
Killer and Cross are two such beings, half god and half mortal. With abilities mortals shouldn't have, but also not quite as durable as full deities, they reside somewhere in the middle, and unfortunately certain people would take advantage of that. Without parents around who would protect them, they must fend for themselves as they run to escape the prison they were trapped in, and this was how they ended up inside a tentacled skeleton's mansion without knowing what they were getting into. While the brothers now must figure out who they can trust, Nightmare and his friends have to discover these two teenagers' past before what or whoever they are running from finds and drags them back into their personal hell.
Hopefully these two can warm up to the guardians and gods despite what they've been told...

Several details in this fic are heavily inspired by 'Blue joins the bad sanses' comic, so go check that out
Canon innacuracies: Passive and Corrupted Nightmare are the same person, Ink is the creator and not the protector, Ink, Error, Nightmare, and Dream, are all gods, Blue, Killer, Horror, and Dust's specific au timelines were all destroyed, and i took liberties with how the void works. Also, no Cross sans will be mentioned, i don't know enough about underverse, and there will be some OC non-sans God/entity/things later on. The fic will be split into parts, each lasting nine chapters.
Schedule: Once every other week, on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, and i will post art or a reference sheet with every chapter. Trigger warnings will be specified in chapter notes. I've never written for undertale before, so please let me know what you guys think :3With that said, the actual plot: After an injured Error crashes into Nightmare and Co's home, a close bond starts to form between the two gods, both forced villains. In light of Ink's attempt to kill Error, Dream finally starts to lose it, and Blue gets dragged along.
