Even so, he can't help new feelings he doesn't understand that come with this new life of his.
Athena, Ray, and Cyrill have settled into the nuances of their relationship over their years together. They make their relationship work largely through extensive communication and planning ahead. An omega hybrid who's too scared to look them in the eyes and whose vocabulary largely seems to be composed of the word "sorry" doesn't quite hit that mark, neither does his child who's never seen the outside world. Nevertheless they vow to help he and his child get back on their feet. Too bad they can't help the feelings they catch along the way.

Cassius Phoenix Aurelius is the only son of the King of the South Luciano Aurelius. Osiris Carmenere Ambrose is the crown prince to the Baileus of the country, and next to inherit the throne. At birth Cassius was given the title “Asao to the crown prince”. It just so happened that the Phoenix family caused the end of the world and deemed an enemy of the monarch. Why is this happening? Why is the monarch allowing this to happen? Cassius was brought to the palace at age 10. Both agree they would never love, less like, each other, and both would very much like to kill the other.
The story follows the two as they grow up and the political entanglement they both fall victim to.
At least that was what was supposed to happen. Only the one being sent in “Cassius’” place wasn’t Cassius at all.
