Summary
Qifrey has always had a complicated relationship with the weather, let's say. For all that he detested being wet with every single fiber of his being, he hated the rainstorms of the spring season for another reason as well; the pain they always brought him.
Headaches, spiking, burning, searing eye pain, nausea, stiff joints, and aching muscles were all aliments that Qifrey was very well accustomed to dealing with, but the thunder that rolled across the hills come the warming weather always did him particularly dirty with the hell that the changing atmospheric pressure unleashed on him.
And of course, of course, it's also the season of the Great Hall's spring audit, so there's extra paperwork to be completed by Him and Olly. So the two of them sent their four apprentices outside to enjoy the sunshine before the cloud cover came in. With both of them making sure that Richeh had a cup of their medicinal tea. The poor thing suffers from the same sensitives as Qifrey after all, but her fellow apprentices will help to keep an eye on her.
so off the girls go, out into the sunshine, and their masters stay inside, with hands, fingers, and wrists starting to cramp from all the writing they have to do.

Sean whistled low behind them. "Christ, Morgan. You look like wan av dem fancy paintings rich folk hang over deir shitters."
"Shut up," Arthur and John growled at the same time.
Sean blinked.
John barely spared the redhead a glance, his eyes locked on Arthur's tight shoulders. "You," John started, throat gravel, "You good?"
Arthur's jaw stiffened; a muscle jumped in his cheek. John had seen him look less tense staring down the barrel of a twelve-gauge. "Peachy," he warned.
The Frenchman emerged from the saloon, "Oh, he's perfect, non?" he purred, approaching Arthur's shoulder and perching his hand on it like a hawk. His fingers plucked at Arthur's lapel. "Don't you think, Dutch?"
Their leader stared silent for a moment, a pause that dragged on too long. "Depends," he decided, "on whether he's ready to do the job right."
Arthur's eyes drifted to the brick street, voice quiet and strange, devoid of his accent, normal slur, and everything that made him 'Arthur', "Of course, sir."
Dutch and some old associates have a new job lined up for the gang. Despite the fact that Arthur's never been first pick for a con, he's being asked to 'play prey'...
