Summary
An "alternate ending" to Azula's storyline in the show, in the form of a more definitive ending scene for both her & Ty Lee after Zuko's Coronation as Fire Lord. Meant to serve as a scene that could have happened in canon between Zuko's coronation and the final scene of the series, giving an explanation to why Ty Lee (and Azula) weren't present in the Jasmine Dragon with the Gaang.
Also meant as a "happier ending" that better acknowledges Azula as a person following her hitting rock bottom in the Agni Kai.
Takes place a few weeks/month or so chronologically after being defeated by Katara.
Partially inspired by Grey DeLisle's statement that in her perfect world, post-series Ty Lee & Azula escaped to a romantic desert island. -

Summary
It should have been one of the best days of Azula's life. She'd succeeded where dear Zuzu had failed again and again, single handedly staged a coup against Ba Sing Se, and struck the Avatar down with lightning. That was before she felt the tell-tale static that came with more lightning, this time not her own. Now she's stuck in a stupid time loop for Agni knows why.
12/19/2024: NOT ABANDONED. This fic will begin undergoing some large edits in the New Year to reflect my improved writing style and new content will follow. It will be slow, but it will be getting done.

Summary
Her brother's face breaks suddenly like pottery smashed upon the ground and gives way to the destruction of hope. Oh Zuzu, she thinks pityingly, you really should have learned by now to not be this gullible. But it's a lesson he won't ever have to learn now that he's in her grasp. No one else will be able to wield his naivety now that she has taken ownership of it.
(Or, an Azula-centric character study that takes place in an AU where Azula has always intended to overthrow Ozai; takes places during 'The Chase' in the ATLA timeline)
