Eddie frowned, his heart beating a little fast, because if someone knew about his bandanas that he wore in his back pocket—that hopped from color to color and pocket to pocket, depending on his mood—then that meant that the person that gave him this letter was another guy. He stood ramrod straight, turned in a frantic circle, and looked down the hall every which way, being way more obvious than he had been before he’d opened the letter to read it. Still, Eddie saw no one…Okay, so he saw more people looking at him now than moments ago because of how he was reacting, but he had every reason to be like this. Someone was intentionally hitting on him, playing into the holiday, and Eddie…Eddie kind of liked it.
